- The night before our official Adoption Day in China June 4, 2001, we met JaneGrace for the first time in our hotel in Nanning. The initial inquisitiveness turns into despair as she realizes she is stuck with the funny looking, odd-smelling, strange-talking aliens. The first night was tough but by morning, things were beginning to turn around.
