You are absolutely wrong about your information regarding VOR's... They are maintained regularly... What they "typically" do not repair when they fail are NDB's... Come on Philly, you gotta do better if you're doing to be on RUclips making videos...
Thanks Kevin. I will try and do better. I was aware about NDBs but had heard that SOME of the VORs were also not being repaired as they went down. Obviously I was given some bad info. I appreciate your feedback.

So long as VOR's are required to find fixes and navigational routes they will never not be fixed... GPS is just aviation's easy way to fly... My instructor use to make me use 2 VOR's to find fixes..... Oye!! Instrument Rating days...
