I used to have 100s of VHS. Most went in the bin or to charity shops in 2017 when the shtf.
Still have about 100 and never seen that mold before. But not looked at one in decades.
DVD's also degrade apparently. Wtatched one the other day and the quality is naff so torrent downloading all of those now as well. Grrr!

@@darthbuzz1 Depends how they are stored. A lot of people store them in lofts or in damp sheds so mould can form depending on the humidity etc.
Dvds are usually ok

£15 is a good price considering i do spent a bit more on my vhs pickups mainly tje original Warner home video ones , i just picked up a nice rare horror one mate 📼👈🏻 may film tomorrow
