Haha 😂 I didn’t expect a review for a scanner to be so entertaining. I love your energy! I have the older version of this (the ix500) and it’s great. I’ve scanned hundreds of books that I’ve had to store at a storage unit. Now I can have them on my iPad and actually read them when I want. The biggest negative for me is that some of my books are too wide for my scanner. It seems this one has the same dimensions. However, for the vast majority of my books it works perfectly. It should not be a problem for documents. So for those willing to unbind books to feed this scanner, it’ll work great. If you have old family photos that you want to archive but still keep the original, then I would still trust a flatbed scanner more.
@@BrieOCD Sorry! Rhode Island...for some reason you struck me as a New Yorker. I got the ix1600 a few days ago and it scans faster than I can load the feeder tray...it blows me away how fast it scans. It makes every other scanner I've used look like a piece of useless garbage!

For photos it saves each one separately because it's a JPEG. However if you wanted them to be in all one file you would just change it to PDF then it would scan thru into one file. Make sense?
Hi Brie! I just LOVED your review :) I was wondering if the quality of the scanned photos is good (comparable to the original?), if you can batch scan stacks of photos with the scanner, and is there any photo editing options included in with software? I can find any of this info online. Thanks!!
Yes the quality is really good and you have the ability to change the dpi to make it better. Yes you can batch scan photos but no I don’t believe there’s any photo editing software as it is just a scanner.
Thanks for sharing this video but can you tell me if the scanner adds up totals for tax purposes or do you have to add it up yourself? ie: Business expenses or cash donations. I currently have a neat scanner that is old and no longer supported and was looking at getting something new where I can create my own files and sub-files and have it add up the totals for me. This feature saves a lot of time.
the installation gives me a headache, something is really wrong with this thing. I downloaded the driver from their website, simply doesnt operate . WHAT a NUISANCE!

I don't think you can! You can scan front and back at once but they'll go on two separate pages.

Yes you can put both in together, it automatically detects! 🙌🏼
Hi Brie! When you scan photos, as in a stack of 50 photos, does it separate those 50 photos into 50 different files, or does it go into one big file?

Can you scan to a thumb drive while it is plugged into computer since it can be a specific file?

Great video however did you try to scan bank checks with the scanner ?
It scans every kind of document that you can fit in the adf! It's amazing! 😂
