Why Is Japan Ranked Worst Country in World For Helping Strangers? 🇯🇵

  • I've seen a lot of bogus and contrived surveys/studies in my life but this one, claiming that the Japanese are the least helpful people in the world to strangers is a real head-scratcher! Many Japanese might be a bit shy but in my experience, they are extremely helpful if you ask them! Also, it's hard to think of another country where the people have better manners or are as nice as most Japanese are. Like every country, you might run into unhelpful or unfriendly people occasionally, but 99% of the people I encountered in a month traveling around the country were amazing!

    The big train stations are real labyrinths. Shinjuku was bad, Shibuya was even worse. They cover several city blocks, and you have generation upon generation of construction and renovations piled upon each other.

      shinjuku has 200 exits! I would argue it is even worse than shibuya...
