Why will an index like t=1,2,3 be used as predictor(as shown for xl miner) . Won't %change in sales(trend) calculated for each observation be predictor, irrespective R or xlMiner
What is the difference between Additive and Multiplicative?
the multiplicative trend happens when the data grow exponentially... and for additive, data grow linearly.
