- We fished a 3 day on the Pacific Voyager a crew from Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle and got into some early Bluefin feeding with a Finback Whale near San Clemente Island and a bunch of Yellowtail and Calico outside of the Coronado Islands

3 Day boat should be heading further south.
They go where the bite has been hot. Been on a three day and we turned right out of sandeigo.
Even the cadillacs have been fishing clemente on 6 day trips when the bluefin are out
Yeah, before we left they were debating heading way south for BFT bite but we ran into a school near SCI

People are teasing you; not very nice. You are allowed to keep your fish, within the legal limits of the state of California for both size and quantity. You also must have a valid CA license, but generally if the boat fishes Mexican waters they arrange for Mexican licenses. The boat takes extremely good care of your fish.
tunanorth thank you. I went out on another boat awhile back and all the fish you catch they keep. This is why I asked and then Ned Flanders over here is telling me about lost fish. I think I'll be charting one of these boats soon then.

What's the procedure to go on these types of trips?
Dont be fooled. These guys hit the water at least once a week u think they catch every trip . Hell nah. There would be no fish left You will end up wasting 350$ and come back with a tan ..
