    There is a great quote I recollect watching this unfold.

    A joy to see you back in action. Looking forward to the next version. Some simple starter templates would certainly have helped me, as it took me quite some time to get some understanding of the setup. If you put up a donation button sometime I will make use of that for sure. I have an appsumo deal which cover what I need but I do not mind making some extra contributions as I Cwicly is the most enjoyable wordpress experiences out there.

    I've been following Cwicly development from afar since I prefer lifetime licenses, but I have a quick suggestion. If you intend on making it open source, how about offering bits of code (UI/UX, QOL improvements, or even some of your powerful blocks and features) as contributions to the Gutenberg project? I am sure Cwicly has a bright future, but it might get even brighter if some of your code and mechanics get implemented into Gutenberg. I think it's fair to say Cwicly is what most people imagine Gutenberg should be! Cheers!

    Congratulations, Louis!! I'm so happy the project goes on! Cwicly is, by far, the better WP page builder for designers. It has all I wish the FSE provided by default, with a much better user experience. As some folks also suggested in the comments, it would be nice to be able to contribute also financially to make sure the project grows and thrives with all the love it deserves. Maybe a patreons section or something? Thank you for everything ☺🙏

    Luis, welcome back, I hope you're doing well and are reinvigorated! 🙏
    It's unfortunate that some people are getting hung up on Tailwind. It has become so polarizing for some reason.🤔It doesn't need to be. As you mentioned, Tailwind just functions as a mature, behind-the-scenes CSS framework. Cwicly users don't need to concern themselves with Tailwind, only with the Cwicly UI. If they didn't know it was there, they wouldn't even care!

    I couldn't believe at first that you were going to let Cwicly die - after all the hard work you put into the project! It's great that you're bringing Cwicly back to life and have further plans for it. I wish you the best of luck that everything turns out the way you want it to!

    Moving to Panel Based is a great indea! It would be great if it doesn't dependent on the Gutenberg which is a real pain to use. Something like Bricks builder standalone should've actaully move the needle. It is understandable that you might thought Gutenberg is the future but future is not any closer for gutenberg.
    But It's great to see Cwicly came back to life. It is by far one of the great builder in wordpress.

    One question, the previous version came with ACF Pro, will this continue, or? As I know ACF has also changed their terms.

    • @bayustudio
      @bayustudio 2 месяца назад

      Since ACF changed their terms, Cwicly is not bundled with ACF Pro anymore. However old cwicly user can still have version that bundled with ACF (when you download it from cwicly's dashboard).

    I’m not sure if I understood this correctly: Is Cwicly going for the freemium model? Since development and maintenance of such a plugin will certainly cost a substantial amount of money which needs to come from somewhere.

    Can you give some examples of these criticisms and attacks? who? where? I saw many videos on the end of Cwicly a few months back and nobody knew which attacks/people you were referring to. Buzz around Cwicly all seemed positive.

    • @polarxta2833
      @polarxta2833 2 месяца назад

      Buzz around Cwicly was positive until he announced Tailwind. Which caught the negative attention of some of the biggest ingrates in the business. Of course it was a good move and will make Wordpress better.

    Question. If I want to contribute to the free templates would it be okay to use fluid typography and spacing? Or for consistency use device breakpoints with tailwind?

      That would be great when we have the Design Library set up for community templates :) Fluid typography and spacing is 👍🏻

    Just uncertainty. Free now but then monetization in the future, so you learn the software, perhaps build your own sites and then client sites and then some unknown costs in the future to wait for. No thanks, can't base a future on unknown costs, and how many developers had to go apologize to their clients and plan for rebuilds and now what do they tell them? If people can't take criticism in this world they won't last long. There is very little else on the internet but criticism, it is also how some people make products great...

    • @cwicly

      Hello there.
      As said in the live, all features included in Cwicly free will always be, no question about that. As for criticism, I said exactly the same thing in the live as you did, glad we can agree on that.
