Zee, I read that in order to really clean my scalp I have to use sulfate shampoo. Do you think non sulfate shampoo and more natural shampoo can effectively clean the scalp?

Sulfate shampoo is a "harsher" surfactant, which will strip the hair of dirt and product build-up. Same with gentle cleansers. Just be sure to follow shampooing your hair with re-conditioning your hair with a rinse out, deep or leave-in conditioner. I don't see why a r/o, deep conditioner AND leave-in conditioner needs to be used for one wash routine. I use a deep conditioner, followed by a leave in conditioner only. I question if I need to apply both. I am moving towards just shampoo and leave in conditioner eventually.

I personally rarely use a deep conditioner. Only when I feel like I need it. Otherwise, I wash my hair every 2 weeks, use a rinse out conditioner (with a shower cap on while I shower for 7 -10 min). That's it. Then I do my moisturizing routine out of the shower 😊
      For me, it's enough. 💁🏿‍♀️

I can understand your haircare routine. I use a deep conditioner because I don't wash my hair every two weeks. My wash routine is once a month, so I use a deep conditioner.@@lilijean5321

      @@ZalinaW Ohh I see 😊
I think it's amazing how unique our hair is. It's really a blessing to have reached a point where we more or less understand what it needs. It makes it so much more enjoyable 😉
