Today I am here to share a fun snail mail idea with you. I am making DIY Postcards with you today. I am doing them in a mixed media style, but you can also use just papers. Maybe I will do a process video like that in the future. I want to do a shout out to Leanne from Creativelyfree2Bme. I love these sooooo much. I know you said there's always an ugly stage - I feel like I can just never get past that stage with anything I do! But these are gorgeous and I really appreciate you making a video of this process. They are wonderful and I hope whoever you send them to appreciates them!
Thank you so much!! :D And I understand that it is hard. I had trouble with this when I started out a lot. But I found that when I wanted to give up and just worked on it, it got better. There was no more pressure to make it pretty because it was ready for the trash. And most times that made me more relaxed and I got through that ugly stage. I hope that this made any sense LOL. These are absolutely beautiful! I’ve been thinking for quite awhile that I want to make more postcards to send. Maybe I’ll tackle a 12x12 page today! I finally started writing pen pals again. Erg leuk geworden!!😍hihi grappig dat je zei dat mixed media altijd door een “ugly stage” gaat...dat vind ik altijd het spannendste moment, wordt het wat of wordt het voer voor de prullenbak 😜
Dankjewel!! :D Hahaha ja dat is altijd een spannend moment. En bij echt een geval van nee, smeer ik er gewoon een laag gesso op en begin ik opnieuw. Ik gooi eigenlijk nooit iets in de prullenbak. Ik vind de uitdaging ook heel erg leuk om er nog wat van te maken ook als het niet zo gaat als ik had bedacht. Maar vaak is dat niet nodig :). Keep working it and all will be good LOL!

Wonderful! I followed the link to find out more about the basic cardstock but sadly couldn't quite figure out what weight/thickness it is, can someone please tell me?
