I really enjoyed this trip thanks. The conversation was perfect, it really made me feel at home. And of course, as everyone knows, there's nothing wrong with The Daily Mail. My wife, daughter and I spent 4yrs in Oxford while the wife studied, travelling most weekends to visit as much as possible, and we loved it. Back in NZ and 20yrs later, daughter grown up and not living at home, I miss those road trips full of chatter new things.
I can just remember thi sroad being completed and using what is now the old road from Ross to Monmouth, which widened to dual carriageway in places, and abandoned in others. This road was upgraded to provide a link from the M50 which ends at Ross to the then newly built M4 at Newport
