I heard Bert say he pretty much stopped screaming in his songs because he was a little older than before and he just didn't feel angry so much any more. And I'm very happy he took these subjects on in his musical process.
I thought he strained his voice box and had to get surgery or something..?

Thats a good explanation. I just figured he killed his voice by screaming and he had to stop.
He can't scream anymore cuz of his vocal chords. This album is an amazing concept. But The Used went back to making disappointing music, like Artwork, after this. Bring back Punk The Used!

Im 30. Been listening to these guys since I was in high school. This is my favorite album so far. It just reaches out and grabs you emotionally on so many levels. :)

Colton Norman seen them twice now. arguably one of the best live acts i've ever seen. nothing quite like the crowd drowning out the venue's sound system during taste of ink

2021 🔥💪 who legends listening
This band has been with me for 12 years, and they are still amazing. This CD gives me hope. The revolutionary lyrics and mind set of the songs lets me know I am not alone in how I feel. Nor am I alone when it comes to being severely pissed off about current affairs. This generation IS NOT generation throwaway. ;)
Anyway, this band is STILL relevant, after 12 fucking years. Bravo, guys, Keep it up!

Revolution is the best track. Then there are a lot of songs that are incredible and on the same level: A song to stifle imperial progression Imaginary Enemy, Cry, Force without violence. I like also Generation T.

Another underrated album by the used! People think only 1st 2 are good! Their best is artwork.

I hope this album blows up to something much larger than itself, it has such strong messages. A call to action in a reality when injustice is tolerated cause everyone just wants to avoid confrontation over things that are important, bicker about things that don't, and worry only about themselves.
Just as the song says, impossible until it happens then it becomes inevitable.

Pretty cool that they put the whole album on RUclips so that we can listen on their official channel. I'd rather listen to it on their official channel so that they can make a bit of money on the advertising than see someone else upload it to make a profit on work they didn't do.
