This sounds like a wasp in a jam jar.Motorhead sound.A 4x12 cab v 30's is the wrong ohms and it's gonna fart out like a peavey bandit unless it's plugged into a 4 ohm cab.Sounds like the caps are toast .A horrible sounding vintage showman.I have a '67 .
The ohms match. This was an 8 ohm head plugged into an a switchable 8 or 16 ohm cab. Not all V30’s are the same...you can get them in different ratings. Thanks for your expert advice and well thought out opinions. I’m sure your 67 sounds amazing.
@L Smith great! I’d love to hear it…post a video! I own two Deluxe Reverbs also…one is a 1965 that sounds amazing, the other is a ‘65 reissue that’s sounds good enough.
@L Smith actually, I gig regularly. Just trying to turn your negative comment into a conversation about amps. But it looks like you don’t want to post a video of your “Reverb Deluxe”. Have a great day
These are great amps. I have a '66 and loved it so much, I bought one for one of my sons ...
Reminds me of AC/DC at times ! 😁👍
I had a 68 drip edge bassman that had the same marshall characteristics
Still for sale?
Darin Strauss No, it sold
Terrible
