Please don’t take my comment wrong, but this is one of the best looking and fitting outfits you have made. The fit is perfection on you. Very, very flattering!!! Well done.
I really like the seam design in this pattern. I will consider the length (1/3 to 2/3) proportion because I am 5’2”. And I would need to shorten to a 3/4ths sleeve because my wrist are the only small measurement on my body. I am logging this pattern number under ‘Must Have’. I love to wear Denim. Thank you, Lindsey. ~ L
I think the pleats in back make the dress. Maybe CB pleats can be a little shallower. As it is it's very flattering to your figure. Patience paid off, workmanship an A+.
Lindsey you did a really nice job on your dress. The collar & stand are not easy to get perfect but yours look really good. The fit is good & your topstitching looks great.
Hi, I'm so glad I found your video while looking for reviews. I love the top sewing on your dress! You gave me a few tips re fitting as well. I bought this pattern today and I while going through the instructions I find something unclear and I wonder if you could help me with this. While measuring the shoulder to decide which size I should choose I don't know whether the seam allowance between the princess seams are also 1,5 cm's. It seems a bit much to sew princess seams together. In the instructions it says 1,5 cms seam allowance unless otherwise stated. I can't find anywhere it says any seam allowances are "otherwise". I live in Europe, we use the metric system but the seam allowance is the same i.e 5/8 inches. Thanks in advance.
@@InsidetheHem Thanks so much for answering. Yes, 1,5 cm's is a lot for princess seams, I'll be cutting only 1 cm there when I finally sew with my lovely fabric. Doing a muslin first so I needed to know for measuring the pattern. I''m an in-between- size. :))

Lovely dress. I love sewing with denims
Good job. I’ve made (2) no sleeves dresses. Looking forward to doing one with sleeves. I LOVE the dress
yeah that's a winner for sure. You did a beautiful job sewing it.
I love this dress and am in awe of all the wonderful topstitching.
I think it is great. I think that a size smaller would be a better fit but very comfy looking.
I have that patter, but haven’t made it yet. Thank you for sharing. It looks beautiful

This is so fun! I'm making Simplicity 8014 (View B with View A's sleeves) and I am also doing all flat felled seams!
It’s so worth it!
Really cute Lindsay!
I love your shirt dress! Nice job!
Your dress came out super cute! I am definitely going to make a denim shirt dress in the coming seasons.
Very nice and neat finishing details!
One of my favorites of you makes! Lovely!
Great dress and fabric/closure choices. And, it looks great on you. Nice start to 2021.

I thought you were going to turn your collar up at 1:43! Glad it stayed down!

Yep! Massive 5/8” seam allowances even in the princess seams.
