Good video. I was wondering what would be the advantage of using permission sets to give users additional access rather than just assigning a custom profile that allows that level of access?
Hey at the moment i ve enroll on a salesforce bootcamp , so i have a question how can you give acces to sales reps only to the quotes that they create?
You are always going to need profiles. You'll only sometimes need Roles. Most small businesses I work with don't need roles at all. I don't use them internally.
Hi Shivam. I'm not sure what's happening here. I would make sure you have those licenses available. Check Company Information to see if they've all been used.
Hi there, If it's a standard profile, you won't be able to delete it, but you should still be able to clone it. You'll need to check your permissions to make sure you have the ability to take those actions on profiles. Can you set yourself to System Administrator? That should take care of the issue.
Right now, you can set permissions on Profile and through Permission sets. Salesforce is going to phase out permissions on Profiles though in the next couple years. www.salesforceben.com/salesforce-to-retire-permissions-on-profiles-whats-next/

hey hi, how to execute multiple releases at a same time, in a single sandbox ?
I'm not sure... I assumed a sandbox on the next release would have upcoming release for all the products in your org. Is that not what you're seeing?
Great video
Thank you!
It seems like Profiles are often a lot more useful and practical than Roles
