Thanks Ed, I'm kicking around the idea of making a telescope with my grandson. Keep up the videos, if we don't share what we know with the young, its lost.
Ed, Is a diamond wheel a diamond grinding wheel I found a grinding wheel at harbor freight. Is that what you are referring to in the video? Personally, I just used a pipe floor flange. (I am a newbie here). Seems to have worked O.K., but I would be interested in that diamond tool you have in the video. What is that called at the hardware store? Thanks and appreciate the effort you took in making these. They are very helpful. .......Cameron
Cameron, A diamond masonry blade from Harbor Freight should work nicely and speed up hogging out the curve. The grit size may be somewhat coarse so be sure to keep the edges chamfered well. You can find some cheap ones on Ebay as well. Ed
Ed Jones The wheel I used was made by a company out of business I believe. You might try this wheel: www.ebay.com/itm/4-1-2-WET-DRY-TURBO-DIAMOND-BLADE-Rock-Masonite-/370710749620?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56501521b4 Ed
