5 Semitone Difference does not sound good for MOST voices, but Vocaloids have ALOT of leeway for it, it still sounds baller
Very true, that's the biggest thing holding this back. I tried playing with the formant too since the original vocals sound high pitched to begin with (in the nurture style) but this version sounded best (-5 semitones formant). Like i said in the description, I really hope someone does a cover in full quality with the actual vocaloid pack!

Yes, I have several suggestions:
1. the vocals in this version are slightly too early. they should be timed later relative to the instrumental, that was just my error.
2. the vocals in this version are AI extracted and pitched down 5 semitones, both of which reduce quality. if you're synthesizing them using the VOCALOID, you can avoid both of these issues, just make the vocals in G major.
3. the instrumental in this version is AI extracted. you could use this instrumental instead ruclips.net/video/ubeGAFwR6tQ/видео.html for higher quality, but it has a slightly different structure that I thought was worse. if you want the instrumental I used I can send it you.
4. if you want it slower, that requires distorting the instrumental because you'd have to tempo shift it.

what AI stem separator did you use? i've done something similar with ht demucs and i think it comes out with slightly less artifacts
