“Welcome friends” best video intro on RUclips
Building that core audience.
Thanks so much for watching!

I got hooked on his videos after the coke one to haha
Absolutely the same with me
Crazy same here!
I even went and bought 3-400$ in cooking gear, spices and food stuff and I've been learning to cook with his videos!
your videos started appearing in my suggestions (i live in spain) and im pretty happy RUclips did it🤠
I watched this as soon as it popped up on my feed
You could use the Ras el hanout as a spice rub on the roast and saute to bloom the spices first and then add the stock to the pot.
I love the simplicity of these videos, it's like you've just gone over to your friend's place for dinner.
Thank you!
Binge watched all your videos. Your voice and energy remind me and my grandma and granddad. Don’t ever stop these videos
Best cooking channel, keep up!

Glen, about a week ago you had roughly 70.000 Subscribers, and that has shot up to 121.000 in just over a week. I want you to know I love the whole-heartedness and genuine personality you portray in your videos. When I watch your videos everything feels content and homey and can honestly say, I have not found that on any other channel on RUclips.
I hope you enjoy what you're doing, because I will keep watching your videos for a long time - you have so much good content! All the best, and I bet you will have more than half a million people following you before Christmas.

Big Fan Of This Channel
I made this for dinner last night. Easy to make and tastes great.
This looks absolutely fantastic! Great video!
I'm immensely happy to see so much energy from you two. It's been only 30 mins but I'm already hooked and sub'd. Keep it up guys!
I'm truly surprised about the amount of visits you get. I mean, your content is just amazing! Love every single one of your videos (I'm new here so I'm still going over them) and you seem like a really great person. Keep the great work up sir, God bless you and thank you for all the effort you put into making these videos. (Sorry if I make no sense somewhere around this mess, I'm not a native speaker)
Ras el Hanout is one of my favorite seasonings, so I'm definitely trying this :D
Love you guys!
I’m loving the thumbnails
I love how his wife comes out of nowhere randomly in the middle of every video. Like she just casually came home in that exact moment.
This channel is so relaxing. Really inspired me to do more in the kitchen. Ty! ☺️
Came across your post depression era meat loaf....been watchin since much love from America!!🙏
Ras el Hanout: leader of the league of shadows AND excellent pot roast seasoning!
It is astonishing that you don't have more followers than you do Glen!
Best wishes.
Thank you! We're working on growing the channel.
Hey! Starting watching your channel after your cola video went viral, and I've been binging your videos since. Love the calm and positive atmosphere from your videos. I used to watch a channel called "Cooking with Shotgun Red" that was similar in tone but cooked Southern American dishes. The host of the channel recently passed.
Would love to see you try out some of his recipes. His most popular video is how to make McDonalds style fries. I followed his recipe and they're honestly indistinguishable from the real thing.
Keep the great videos coming!
i bought Ras el Hanout just because it looked interesting but i have no idea what to do with it.....now i do, thanks!
This sounds wonderful! Can't wait to try it! 😋👍✨
I'm pretty bad at cooking, but these videos are great and are inspiring me to learn more! :)
I just discovered your channel and I love it ... but being new to you who’s is that lovely woman who is in the videos you two are so great I watch your channel everyday now and I’m going to start making some of the recipes, what I like most is that you make it seem easy ( I know it’s not ) but you say go ahead and try it and all I want to do is try it thanks for a great set of videos I know I’m gonna keep watching
Greetings from Israel!
Happy to hear you use "ras al hanoot" spice blend :)
We love this stuff!
Looks amazing flavors though I believe the roast is a bit tough.
If I would try it myself, it wouldn’t be beef definitely, lamb shanks would be my best choice, and I would add some preserved lemons to brighten up the flavors a bit.
I love this idea! Can't wait to try this.
That looks great! My dad likes to experiment with recipes too, and this looks like something he would make!
clicked the like button before the video even started 🤷🏼♀️
I remember you're not a fan of it... but I feel like this could work with a slow cooker. Never tasted ras el hanout - definitely gonna give it a try! Keep up the good work :)
This would definitely work in a slow cooker.
Really like your channel. Keep it up!
Love these one pot roasts 😉😋👍
I love your videos so much
I am new to your channel and I'm already hooked. Great job! I'm from the U.K and yorkshire puddings are indeed heavenly. Might I suggest you try a recipe for Scouse? Its a lovely dish to try out if you havent already.
Glen you should try making a puerto rican dessert 'arroz con dulce ' ( candied rice ) and/or 'tembleque' ( wobly coconut pudding) there taste amazing 😁😅
Great job Glen! would you try doing a southern recipe?
This is my ASMR
I have added crushed ginger snaps and when I don't have them I mix flour, ground ginger and brown sugar and add while the pot roast is cooking
Luv me some pot roast!
Now I'm hungry lol 😘
You did an amazing job from what I can see :) Keep it up! Dont listen to snobs on the internet :D
I love unconventional recipes!
I need to try dates in a roast! You and your wife have a good system going. She lets you do your thing, and you give her delicious food in return. 😄
GLENNN!!! My guy
*Welcome Friends* Best Intro To Your Good Videos, My Friend !
Randomly came across your RUclips, I'm big into cooking and baking. I've watched several of your videos. I see your not far from me, Toronto is 2 1/2 hours from me.
So, it would be interesting to know if the taste is sweeter (addition of dates) or more spicy that regular pot roast, i.e., how it differs.
Thank you
I really enjoy your videos, you have some calming and soothing voice! ,,, and amazing presentation of your cooking recipes as well, keep the good work sir.
i need you to make a cook book so i can buy it for my grandmother
I am offended....
said nobody ever about a pot roast
You'd be surprised.
@@GlenAndFriendsCooking I'm offended that I cannot eat it.
You should do easy beer brewing / tasting video on your regular channel too !
We tried - but got a lot of bad comments. Maybe we'll try again?
@@GlenAndFriendsCooking Yes, I think beer videos with the same vibe as the cola video could work !
You remind me so much of Alan 'Nahaz' Bester :)
Try making South African dessert my favourite one is Hertzoggie (hertzog koekies in Afrikaans) south Africa have alot of good dessert
Sounds like it would go well with Yorkshire pudding. :)
I put prunes and rotel with curry
Have you ever considered doing an asmr version of each recipe you cook?
I would - but because I'm talking / explaining, the sounds get lost. I'd have to do a complete separate version. Maybe sometime in the future.
You guys lowkey remind me of a couple from Portlandia.
i m from morocco
What would a recipe like this look like in Morocco?
@@GlenAndFriendsCookingras alhanout is a morocco spice we use it in tajine
There is a Tunisian soda with a unique taste in the world (in my opinion), I don't even know how to describe its taste, it's called "Boga Cidre", but it's not "cider", it would be nice if you did a homemade version of that !!!
After a bit of research apparently the unique taste of Boga Cidre comes from the Carob plant, and it makes sense since in the 1950/1960s Tunisia Carob drinks were a popular street food. So they basically made carbonized carob juice. Boga Cidre can be ordered in Canada, so you can give it a taste! That might give you ideas on creating your own ultimate soda drink ;)
FYI, the RUclips algorithm favors videos over ten minutes, if you want to tailor future videos to maximize viewership.
I know - but I just hate dragging it out artificially.
Could this be made in a crockpot?
Definitely!
When will you upload the new coke video?
At least another week.
Do you live in Canada?
Yes - Just outside Toronto.
I am the 999th and 1000th viewer. Yes.
You do have to be careful not to burn the spices though.
Not Roast?
Do you speak french?
Love your videos by the way :)
4:20 me eating brownies
Nvm ur Canadian
10th!
Do you speak French ?
Un petit peu seulement, Il est difficile de parler français à Toronto.
Is it just me being blind or he forgot about jell-o ice cream?
Pretty sure it never came North of the border- if it did I missed it?
Using dates like it’s 1938 lol
your hair looks gright
