Hey Louis! I grew up in Oman, absolutely loved every day! If you do end up going then you should check out Muttrah Souk for a taste of local life, Wadi Shab which is a nice little hike up a valley which you have to swim part of the way until you reach the end where there is a keyhole in the rocks which you swim through into an awesome cave. On the way there from the main city of muscat there is the sink hole which is an awesome location for cliff jumping and swimming! Basically as you drive down the coast there are so many opportunities for adventure, whether it is dune bashing, snorkelling, hiking, views, Oman has them all! If you need ideas on things to do, even in Dubai, I'd be honoured to help out! Cheers Angus

You should consider going for the Dubai desert safari. I used to live in Dubai and will be heading there next month. Desert safari is something to go for to experience a little more of the cultural side of Dubai. I also recommend going to the souqs(markets); from gold to spice to textiles. Also take abra across the Dubai creek. You'll get to see the old and newer part of Dubai that way!

The food you had for breakfast in the lounge at the airport looked great, the Business Class section of the airplane looked huge, the flight looked great and then your friend shows up at the airport in a crazy cool car to take you out for more food before dropping you off and a beautiful hotel. I got upgraded to Business Class by Emirates when I was flying from Singapore back home to Melbourne! It was awesome! Emirates are truly an amazing airlines.

Stay in one of the absolute best, cleanest hotels Dubai has to offer. Then go out to eat a fancy dinner in a sports car with your mate. Living that high life for sure!

Yeah but I'm not rich or anything lol my mom works for United Airlines so we fly for free and I've been so lucky and blessed to experience the world!!!!!

Go to the Bastikya and the Gold souk- they are really old cultural sites in Dubai, and if u r going to Oman, stop at the blue souk in Sharjah
