The simulator may not have all of the engines, but it does have a Star Trek style Transporter. Watch carefully the people on the platform at 9:49. Helps if you slow it down to half speed.
So many inaccuracies on the Hudson -E8’s couldn’t run south of Harmon due to diesel emission restrictions in Penn and GCT. -The West Side Line wasn’t opened to Amtrak service til 1991 and the SF40DF’s were long retired by then. And they never ran work trains either. -Dash 8’s don’t run south of Albany because they’re too big to fit in Penn and the diesel emissions regulations. Should have used the Hudson Line extension for better accuracy for the E8’s otherwise this great video showing Amtrak!

I find it weird how with the Acela horn audio, there isn’t an audio with “Horn.start”. It just starts on the loop audio when you press the space bar. But other than that nice video, keep up the good work
Great video! At 6:30 you know with that sounds pack you can quell the horn all you have to do is change it in your setting and boom you can quill the horn by I believe pressing shift and space

I was born in 1990, and watched videos about trains as a kid. One of the videos showed of the new Amtrak engine called the "Genesis". I now have been on the "updated" Genesis, the P42. The few opportunities I have had to rude Amtrak, it was pulled usually by a P42. None of those rides were not enjoyable; making the P42 my favorite passenger diesel. My favorite Steam Engine is the 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy".

The AEM-7s should have still be in service today Scraping them just for the ACS-64 for a few miles per our faster is just a waste of them R.I.P. They were based on a Sweedish Locomotive!

My favorite locomotives from amtrak are the EMD E8s, F40PH, Dash 8s, and the P42DCs.

About the only omission was the former Pennsy/PC GG1, which was the workhorse on the Northeast Corridor in the 1970s.
