That siding is called board and batton
Love it! I built 2 box stands several years ago using oak pallets, OSB sheathing, and metal roof. I later installed black fiber board on ceiling to stop sweating of the roofing metal, but it also absorbs sounds making it quiet! We name the stands coffee and lemonade stands!
the young apprentice seems to be well on his way to journeyman!! Great video showing his knowledge in carpentry. a little suggestion over the doors and windows, shape a metal flashing to tuck behind the wood and turn out and angled down above them to shed water away from the walls.
Nice job mason 👍🐄🦌🦌🦌🦌
It sure is nice to have your own lumber to use! That way you can make stuff in the spur of the moment.
Very nice build Mason. Nice video.
If you want the perfect deer blind, get an old tractor cab, set it on some round bales, and the deer won't notice it at all. Use Alfalfa or soybean bales, and the deer will COME to you! Great woodworking and great video!
That’s looking really good, made the way / style that’ll work for you and your family/ friends
Hey, great job there Mason Gierok. Very nice, awesome idea. And big bro to help. Definitely will come in very handily during hunting season and who knows what other uses. Way to go ☺️👍
Great looking hunting blind. Have a wonderful evening
That looks like an opportunity for a good side hussle, deer blind, kids playhouse, small storage shed, she shed
What a work of art. That is better built than any other deer stand I've seen
That looks great. Good job mason.
Hay you need to make a video on how to keep the mice from hell out of deer blinds and the wasp/bugs. Awesome job and video.
Sure looks good to me Mason. I'm no carpenter but that is solid.
Very nice work looks great well built
Great job boys
Looks great. Awesome video.
Nice shack Mason, you did a great job, thought I saw the initial framing in the past video. Was going to comment, thinking was a new chicken coop😊
great blind, guys! Hopefully see you all at Lundberg's on June 22 for the Trempealeau Cty Breakfast.
Nice, I built 3 of them, not as fancy as yours but work just as well , made out of self milled pine and one I made with plywood , they all have metal roofs and cumfy office chairs , windows and door are just flip open, no glass or door handles, wood handles , hold the windows open with air craft cable .
Good job Mason! 👍🏾 They look spectacular.
God Mason is THE MAN. He’s a doctor, a carpenter😊😊😊😊😊😊😊what can he not do?😂😂😂😂
Also, have you named the new calf that Mason delivered? Still liking Maisey❤❤❤❤
Rock on Mason 🤘 👌 👏👏👏
The siding your doing is board an batten
as a young man I was taught 4 hits to drive a nail in sheeting 1 to set the nail 3 to drive it home try it works nice deer blind as we call them in michigan
The air nailer had me laughing 😂
Most every thing I build nowadays I use screws. That way you won't ruin any wood when taking it apart plus they hold much better.
I have found that the perfect size for A deer hunting box stand is 5' by 5' ...any smaller and it's tight and bigger you get too many dead spots for vision out 🦌
Doesn't look big enough for the couch! 🤣
Give it a used oil stain job, 50/50 mix of used oil and diesel fuel run through a pump weed sprayer, and it will look good and last forever.
Love it 😊
excellent!!
Built one last summer we used cement board siding to keep the woodpecker squirrels and carpenter bees away.
Nice spot to sit!
Wish I had a nice shack to sit in...58 and still seating in a ladder stand. I hunt by Black River in Clark County.
I built one using pallets that were free pet up now for over 10 years works great
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO AARON 😊
You might want to include a rifle rack in your project. Have you considered insulating?
That thing is awesome, but it’s got to be heavy.
Nice hunting shack you are building. Mason said he was getting low on lumber. ? Looks like a big pile of lumber right there in the shed, but maybe that is not the correct type of lumber.
Thanks 💪👍 (Digger)
Mount it on a wagon then you can move it where you want it.
In all seriousness, since I don’t have instagram, what would Mason sell this for? And what are the dimensions?
Thats no shack. Thats a condo.
Affordable! Just need a $50,000 sawmill and you can bulky 100$ deer blinds
Howdy Aaron, I hope ya'll are doing well,
Aaron, I left a comment on your last video, same day you posted it, but you never answered my questions ?? You normally answer them, so I'm curious why you didn't this time ?? Thank you, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
How much?
May be affordable but there's over 1, 000 bucks in wood a doors and windows
And 10000 dollars later you have a tiny house
