Matthias, thank you for this channel. Back in February I ordered my Enyaq 2024 L&K version, mainly because of your channel, and others like it. I've been a long term Nissan Leaf owner. I've owned three of them now, but decided the Leaf isn't large enough for us any more. So started looking around, and discovered the Enyaq. My car hasn't been built yet, I've been told it should be built around the end of May... I won't hold my breath. From what I understand there aren't any L&K's here in the UK yet. So, it is possible mine might be delayed. I was so sad to see that you are selling your Enyaq, and we won't be seeing any more Enyaq videos. You have been so helpful with your experiences. I am sure you have influenced many people regarding the Enyaq. I do hope Skoda does watch your videos, because it seems like they have a lot to learn. Communication is key in business, and if they don't inform their customers then they will lose them. i secretly hope that you've bought another Enyaq, however, somehow, I don't think it is likely. Take care Matthias, and I shall see what you show us next, even if it means I may not watch quite so much in the future. Good luck...
Intresting to see what will be your next vehicle. These videos on yours have been really good source of information/opinions. These have included a really wide scope of subjects👍🏼 Software issues are familiar for me because last 2,5 years has gone with ID.3, now waiting for the new Enyaq 85x to arrive. Two last ones to compare before ordering the new vehicle were Enyaq MY24 and Tesla MY.
Last week I order one RS with Race Blue color in Sweden with preliminary delivery in October. I like Your reports/tests very much and that was one part for my decicion to go for Skoda. Hope Yours new car be Skoda once again 😉
Hi Matthias, You have told everything there is to know about the Enyaq. Thank’s for all the informative videos. I totally agree on all the plusses and minuses you have about the Enyaq. It is a truly great car with one enormous flaw, i.e. software. Skoda still lives in the previous century, where a car once sold didn’t get updates also. I drive my Enyaq iV60 (ME3.0) for almost 2 years and 60k kilometers now and I love driving it except for all the software glitches I experience. Because of the bad software this will be my third and last Skoda or other VAG EV. I am done with it and will switch to another brand. I have my thoughts on Tesla and its owner, but a model Y is high on my shortlist. Mostly because of the software. I like SUV’s so BMW iX3 is also a consideration. Very curious about your new car. Don’t keep us waiting too long please! See U soon.
Hello Matthias, thanks for the nice review of the Enyaq after 2,5 years. I have same generation Enyaq (80) with more or less same experience. I have still to drive another year with this car. Despite the software issues (mainly responsiveness and lack of preheating which bothers me the most) I am very happy with the car. It brought me to French Alps (christmas 2021 a challenge for charge planning), several summer holidays to Austria (with towing folding tent). I am living in NL. There are currently 2 cars which are on my short list for replacement: the new 2024/2025 Enyaq with ME4.x is basically solving all my issues. Other option will be the Tesla Model Y “Highland” version to come. This Tesla is very competitive on price has one of the best software and expectation of improved building quality (the weak point of the Tesla). Considering your channel I believe you will go for the new Škoda Enyaq.
I've been following your channel for around the same time, I got my own Enyaq 80 , just around a year. I've enjoyed your videos, in german and english, and hope to see more Skoda on this channel. Looking forward for the next chapter. Thank you
Hello Matthias, my honest bet would be new Enyaq 85. Mine just got into production hopefully this week, about 4,5 month after placing the order. One more argument would be you were not giving out the frunks. But I'm sure you won't wait for 4-5 months for a new car to be delivered, so I'm staying curious about your choice. Good luck, and all the possible happiness with the new car.
Hello Mathias, Thanks for your channel. I have risked it and bought green VRs coupe with ME3.5 quite recently (with a great discount from Škoda dealer) and still hope for some updates (specialy for adding preheating). I am still not fully sure that I have chosen right (especially during my occasional DC charging), but realy satisfy when I am driving and even when I see this car from outside. Hope that you will stay with us - Enyaq users, but even your experiences and comparisons with some competitors will be interesting for us. Have a good choice.
Hello Matthias, it was the right decision. I sold my 60 to Denmark 6 weeks ago. Nothing worked in Germany. In two weeks I'll get the ID.4 with 210kW. So 2 months delivery time. Skoda's service was not good and the delivery times were much longer. Best wishes from the Baltic Sea!
You are one of the few who 'made' me buy this car, I have an 80x like yours(but white) from December 2022 and I am very happy with my choice. Also I was interested of the Q4, but the price(almost 30k over the Enyaq at that time), and the delivery time made me select the Enyaq. The most annoying thing in the Enyaq software is that the User settings are not saved(the car asks me several times every day about storing the new settings and never happens!!!).I am looking forward to see your new choice of car and keep up the good work of being rational and objective on your videos!
I am looking forward to your next chapter. I've enjoyed your videos on the Enyaq, and they helped me make the decision to get my car. I am currently enjoying a My24 Enyaq VRS. So far, so good. I like your videos because you are honest and present your data in a way we can all understand Keep up the good work. The Ford Explorer does look interestingly.
If yo do as me, I went for the Skoda Enyaq RS Cupe 2024. Anp it's is a super car. With the thing I missed on the previous model. Pre heating works . I have testet it in Norway😊 My other option was Tesla mod. Y, I have had my 2024 model since February and my wife an I simply loves it.
So, to address the range piece, I’ve an iV 80 Sportline, delayed 2022 MY on 2023 plates, loaded with ME3.2 and no heat pump. Today I took a 100 mile (161 km) round trip and over the whole trip averaged 6.2 miles per kWh (9.978 km/kWh) at an average 21C ambient temperature. On a full battery and driving it from 100-0% without charging, that would have equated to a range of over 477 miles (768 km) and there’s definitely more scope to improve that. It would not take much of an effort to push that to pretty darn close to 500 miles (800+ km). Winter driving for comparison saw me down at 270-300 mile ranges - the WLTP range is 331 miles for this car by the way. My method? Normal drive mode, aircon and fan off (not needed at these temps with the windows cracked open) radio on - chill music, taking my time, gentle acceleration, avoid braking as much as possible, roll around corners without slowing more than necessary, check traffic as far ahead and behind as I can see and plan accordingly - simples. Admittedly, I was only travelling in the UK so my vertical travel was not as big a component as for our Swiss friend here, but I did travel from near sea level up to the highest major hospital operating in the UK, and back again so there were some hills 😊 - also we have solar at home so on a mixed solar and mains charge, that full 100-0% run would cost me about £15 ($18.80 USD, 17.53 Euros) which is about 20% of the cost of going the same distance in reasonably well driven petrol car at current UK petrol prices.
Thank you Mathias! I'm also selling my 2023 Enyaq Coupe RS in favour of the Xpeng G6. A little bigger and far far more tehcnically advanced across the board. The MEB platform and the VW group really has shown it's age in 2024! I really like the exterior styling, but everything else is average, below average or outright poor. Also the failed promises made that the car will improve over time through OTA.
Hi Matthias, thanks a lot for all you very interesting info related to Skoda Enyaq. Thanks to this I ordered a few month ago an RS model and received it 2 weeks ago. I have a small issue or disappointment related to the "Line Assist function". When activated, my Enyaq is not staying in the middle of the road but the car will "tap" the white line on one side, then "bounce" on the other side. A colleague of mine has an Enyaq model 2022 and his car stays well in the centre of the road. As you've also had an old model and now a new one, have you noticed this too? Thanks in advance for your feedback (other member of the channel can of course also comment!). Cheers!
I honestly don't understand the comments about the sound system, mine is no better or worse than any other car I've had recently, and it's much better than many cars I have owned. I have had my lights on the mirrors replaced twice now. Certainly the reliability and even the range in my 60 is better than my last car, a tesla model 3 SR+. That car was back for repairs at least once a month and sometimes those were major repairs lasting up to 3 weeks. The lowest my predicted range has gone in winter has been 290 km. I too have a heat pump on an iv60
I guess the sound system is something of personal preference. The one in the ENYAQ does the job but as soon as you get a custom made one you feel and hear the difference :)
I guess I've never had a custom sound system. People used to criticise the system in my model 3 but again I thought it was very good@@Speicherelektrisiert
Sadly our 85x ownership has been terrible, issues and errors from collection and finally gave up after 5 days (250 miles). Now been at service centre for 4 weeks awaiting parts with no date for repair. I realise problems occur but it's looking like ours will be around 3 months before being returned from initial failure. Skoda service in the UK is awful.
That's sad to hear and reminds me of my Audi Q4 experience back in 2021...after 9 weeks at the dealership for repairs and still no date I finally gave up and gave the car back (it was a subscription and they did not deliver the service paid for so I was lucky to do so)
No matter what you think of Musk and the Tesla drivers, the Model Y is still the best in class. Or, all the others are worse, some are very close (such as enyaq), but in terms of performance and efficiency, no one is above Tesla.
Elon Musk just fired the entire Supercharger Charging team from Tesla (why? who knows), some 500 people. What this means to Tesla Supercharger network (Tesla's greatest asset IMO!) and Tesla car owners remains to be seen... I'd be a bit cautious going with Tesla right now.

That's great. Love to read you're happy with your car

Hello Matthias, I´m selling my enyaq also in Portugal and considering also all the cars you mentioned more the new Tesla model Y.
Did you already decide what car it will be?
I will love if you get a new
2024 ŠKODA ENYAQ L&K 85x 😉
We will see next week :)
No matter what you think of Musk and the Tesla drivers, the Model Y is still the best in class. Or, all the others are worse, some are very close (such as enyaq), but in terms of performance and efficiency, no one is above Tesla.
Ich tippe auf einen neuen Skoda Enyaq MY2024 😊
I bet for Enyaq MY2024
Maybe not the worst bet to make :)
That's indeed something I'd never expected will happen but he just did it
Polestar 3 😍
