Mrinal Thakur is one of the most deserving actresses in the country. My grandmother used to watch Kumkum Bhagya, and I remember watching her on that show. I always felt like this woman is so talented and absolutely gorgeous, I'm sure I'm going to watch her on the big screen. And alas 2 years later that happened. More power to her.

Suprisingly, despite being from Mumbai, I have never watched any of her work till date - serials, movies , Marathi work - nothing, and then I watched Sita Ramam...2 days back. Usually in South Indian movies, heroine roles don't have much meaning, but in Sita Ramam, Mrunal did a great work portraying Sita. It was a treat to watch old school romance between her & Dulqur. I really didn't think that Mrunal had such a body of work behind her, I thought she is just another new comer to Telugu industry. But listening to this interview, my respect for her has increased, she is very relatable and easy to talk to. And she seems to be very thoughtful in her choice of scripts. I really hope we see her in some really good romantic Tamil movie too soon.
