Sadly whitewashing is a very big problem in the kpop community. And in the world in general. It's just nice when i see photos/videos with their true natural and beautiful skin tones.

It's not a trend, as countries like China have been doing it for centuries...but I like to think of it as more of a culture thing, rather than a hate problem. I'm African American, but I can still acknowledge that there are many Asian countries who have this way of thinking. Nonetheless, I love my skin, and all skin tones are beautiful. 😊
