I LOVE early Shinedown. Their lyrics had deep meaning, and were almost therapeutic. Instrumentalists, they sound great, but... this isn't going to be popular: it sounds like a series of bumper sticker slogans. One after another. I'm hopeful that their lyrical brilliance comes back with the rest of the album.
