Even Super Saiyan God Vegeta has his weaknesses and while not all of them will be fixed with his new custom state like SSJ4 Gogeta, he will still FINALLY have a ki blast ranged super attack and if you put that together with the Galick Gun super soul!
God Vegeta already does crazy damage, but being a custom mentor probably means he’ll have a stat setting to raise it even more

Is it just me that usually use Raid Blast as a somewhat evasive while fighting? Never seen Steedoj or any other RUclipsr using it that way
I do it all the time. But it's bad to spam it or use it on opponents you have done it on before. If you time it right its overkill. If you don't it leaves you vulnerable.

Really hoping they give him a good striker build option. I was wanting it with custom 4geta since he had god fist and his own strike supers are fun as well, but it didn't pan out. We already saw custom Godgeta getting final cannon from Trunks, so maybe he can also get Burning Strike and Impulse Slash to make a really fun strike build. Give him:
Strike A/C
Ki C
Speed A/B
I guess Combo A/C (🤢)
...with the usual Vegeta super souls and you got a template for a really fun and versatile custom partner.
As much as I'm looking forward to Custom SSJ4 Gogeta and SSG Vegeta (not so much the other) I really wish they would make Base/Super Saiyan Vegito a custom mentor my boi Vegito seriously needs a buff.
As a base Vegito main he just doesn't feel as strong as so many others I doubt they will but I seriously hope dimps does this.
Oh yeah and I am hoping they give Custom Goku Black Super Saiyan as an awoken to reference the DBS Manga.

That's cool 'n all but if you like Vegito a lot, I recommend just switching to SSGSS Vegito, lol. Better combos, better/similar Supers and Ultimates, and he has a Custom Partner preset as well.

Wait, why does god Vegeta need a damage buff? He already has the best damaging long combo in the game when fully done and not only that it shockingly combos into all his supers and ultimate even if your enemy has stamina. It may be the hardest combo as of yet to pull off but he's already dumb strong if you can land his longest combo. I would understand god Goku needing the buff (along side a combo change) but Vegeta is already solid here. At best he just requires the player to be good sense his combos requires you to know ever bit of what works and what doesn't if you want to see how broken he is.
My opponents have never lived long enough for me to figure out his combos.
@@kyleanderson449 If you plan on learning god Vegita's wack combos and stupid damage I believe there is a youtube channel dedicated to mastering and showing each charater abilities and longest combs. Also if you want to us a good punching bag Broly and Ribrianne generally have around the highest health pool in the game.
God Vegeta is built so well that he has good stamina breaks, and his combos allow you to set up into another combo and continue damage. It's not even funny. Like come on, there's a few combos where he hits someone to the ground, and if you are at ground level you vsm easily follow up with one of his supers. Maybe even a stamina break. He's even more versatile than his Blue or Blue Evolved counterpart.
One of the coolest lookin combos is that backflip kick he does. That's his only infinite and it looks so nice.

thing I love about this game is how fun some of the combos characters have are, SSG Vegeta's are so cool, unfortunately this cuts both ways because CaC combos are really bland and stiff

If GT Vegeta is confirmed for the game, I hope that he isn't just a copy paste of SSJ4 Vegeta. That, and we get an SSJ4 awoken skill for him as well as CACs. If not, then I don't think I'll play him unless he has some good stats and combos.
Edit: What benefits would SSJ4 even give the character? I'm not very caught up on GT, so I'm not entirely sure what buffs SSJ4 would give a Saiyan. I'd say maybe a different set of combos similar to SSJ4 Vegeta and Goku's combos in game, but they already did that with Majins and their purification awoken, and I don't think it got good reception.
All the benefits of every other transformation but better. Plus develops resistance to any thing he is hit with. Way more power. And cost about as much as full power super saiyan. You can be knocked out and still have it active.

(Edit1: I'm only asking this question because it was in a poll I saw and I'm also debating with someone in said poll who it is)
Lets use both Pokemon science and db science combined but not change the characters movesets or abilities.
Ki is now a fighting type ability because it only does physical damage and aura sphere is listed as an attack of life energy or ki in this case since if you run out if ki you die and that's is shown by how if your ki drops to zero you are died.
Now lets see what moves frieza has when not using ki.
Telekinisis.
Basic/nonelemtal punches, kicks, tail slaps, head butts, other purely physical moves, etc.
And now for all those who noticed lets look at telekinesis, its a psychic type move meaning it can harm gengar but frieza rarely uses it and I doubt gengar will pull a "surprise attacked krillin/saiyan saga yamcha moment" and go down in 1 hit.

Of almost anything's body (excluding legendary and mythical pokemon and plot armored characters). And because ki is fighting type ki does nothing against ghosts so friezass ability to hold if destroyer ki from a (canonically weaker) g.o.d. means nothing.
So unless frieza steps of his telekinetic abilities frieza is fucked. Gengar also hunts with 100% success rate and will follow its target to any length just to snatch their souls so even if frieza is as fast as people say and goes off planet hes still gonna die because gengar is unavoidable when it starts stalking prey.

I would actually consider SSG Vegeta to be one of the better DLC characters. But his moves really suck, but the custom should really help with that. Hope he gets some cool fire moves, like Brave Heat or Burst Attack
What moves of his suck burst stinger is very good since it can be used as a counter and blazing attack with his combos fit him very well especially with raid blast being able to combo with it and making it unvanishable and his ults are good
@@your_local_baka Burst Stinger does no damage, Blazing Attack does no damage, and Raid Blast does no damage (unless you're near the ground, but even then, it's still super mid damage). They all basically need a damage buff to make them actually viable.
@@SoapyBowl his supers don't need to really do damage though since he already hits like a truck and raid blast and burst stinger have a lot of utility outside of damage since burst stinger is a counter and raid blast can be used to avoid attacks pretty easily

@@your_local_baka First of all, the top tier characters of the game can do basically the same amount of damage as SSG Vegeta, while being infinitely faster than him. Second, it doesn't really matter if those moves have that kind of utility if their extremely easy to react to and don't do the damage that they should.

Ngl, and maybe this is entirely me, but SSG Vegeta has always been kinda... alright but not great to me. He's good if you know how to use him, but then again I know how to use Android 16 really well. Does that make him good? Not really. SSG Vegeta lacks any knockback follow-up moves at all. Honestly I'd be fine if he doesn't get a ranged move if he at least gets super god fist so I can follow up on a knockback. Is Super God Fist cheesy? Yes, but it's also a good strike follow-up at the very least. The fact he lacks something like super god fist, galick gun etc is kinda what makes him kinda alright at best for me rn. Once the tutor comes out, if he gets a ranged move, instantly good and might even be like top tier, possibly, very big POSSIBLY.
