which videos would you recommend for a more in-depth look at set theory including subsets and such? I'm starting with linear algebra II this year at uni. Your videos helped so much last year! Thank you so much!
@@RedRahiq I mean there are conceptions of "things they teach that are meaningless" that is generally useful and others that aren't. It's more just that your average math curriculum is watered down, partly to cater to and uplift the lowest common denominator, _mostly_ because of *_genuine_* pedagogical ineptitude of U.S math education. The concept of proofs isn't introduced in most corners until highschool and by then it's just barely anything, set theory and logical statements are after-thoughts, and arithmetic and algebraic proficiency is often left undercooked. TL;DR There are valid reasons as to why you "spare" children integrals and conic sections and such... but those valid reasons aren't often _why_ U.S math education is watered down and the reasons it _is_ isn't likely very good.
@@ivoryas1696 Agree. And the teachers take over a week just explaining and explaining again a very understandable information even if everybody knows it, and the most important parts of lessons are rarely, if ever, taught. I'm not saying what they're teaching is useless, as I don't know why people say that but I feel like education can be better. More entertaining. More efficient. That's why I'm following this playlist.
Will we ever be using algebra in real life? I am feeling some resistance in learning it for school because it just feels like knowledge I will never need to use.
If you do smth that requires even the slightest bit of brain capacity you will bite your ass if you dont learn it in school because it will almost certainly come back and haunt you.
Really i feel very bad. If we would have this type of explanati on. We would have achieved higher studies. By listening this, i want to study high school again
People like this are underappreciated and lifesavers for students.

ur doing a series on SETS. Great, run with it. I like the way you explain things.

Very good. No one can beat you professor.
Very nice explanation sir...
IDK why we didn't learn this in middle school it would have fit in there. Makes me feel like my courses were watered down
Because they are too busy teaching useless things
@NA-xp2cr
Oh it is!...
Sometimes for better... but oftentimes for worse. More times than not, depending on who you asked...

"It's Professor Dave, let's learn about sex"
I’m surprised it took this long to find something like this
Thanks :)
Thanks life saver
Hello! SPOILERS!
For checking comprehension, Q3, how did you derive union: (-∞, ∞), this is the only part I got wrong.
Thank you!
Thank you
I was just thinking seeing numbers being used made it easier for me to understand union and intersection.
is there any difference between bracket "( )" in coordinate system and in set theory? or there just same symbol?

I had a doubt in this chapter as my friend says Sets is very hard though it sounds easy.. BEWARE math soon is gonna b interesting for us

i started this video in double speed and i heard "It's Professor Dave, let's learn about sex" and i was confused
How can I get your number? Please 😅
What's the lyrics of intro song?????
Can anyone tell????
So here I'm again--
"He knows a lot about the kinds of stuff, professor dave explains"
