Bruce is dead on accurate with the HD talk. I think there was a deadline mandate by the FCC for HD. Also I was in college at the time for TV/film production and our instructor mentioned the porn industry was against HD for the longest time because of the blemishes showing lol.

I thought so too. Not trashing him, but Conrad made it sound like he (Frank, PRONOUNS pal goddamn!) was completely washed up and didn't communicate how credible of opponent he was. I did love when Brock avenged the loss though
Mir at one time was the man to beat, honestly he was involved in a bike wreck and he wasn’t the same. Probably changed how he trained as well.
Lol he started on the gas really bad after the fights with lesnar. He just kept dumbing down his technique ultimately just head hunting for the fight of the night bonus.

I kind of feel the same about Cody Rhodes this year. He should have been a surprise even though everybody knew he was coming back. I feel WWE ruined that moment by announcing him and everybody knew he was going to win the rumble because of that.
I just knew he was going to Win because of it being in Texas.

Bruce doing his usual re-writing of history when it comes to explaining why they pulled the plug on OVW and moved developmental to Florida. Cornette has told the story numerous times, WWE lifers like Bruce didn't have a clue how to train wrestlers and couldn't stop interfering. OVW literally trained Cena, Orton, Batista, Lesnar, Beth Phoenix, Melina and others. How can he say it wasn't good to put all their developmental in one place when they're churning out results like that?! Florida has never had wrestling scene ever lol. The reason Florida was chosen specifically for the new start-up is because Bruce and Johnny Ace wanted to hang around the strip joints according to JC. 🤣

That's not the story the ratings tell. I quit on WWE ten years ago and the Cena Effect was the primary reason. Edge was the only other guy who managed to become a long term star during that period, and the company hasn't come close to recovering. Ask someone on the street to name a current WWE performer.
Triple H is terrible.

It's just sad.
I was 8 or 9 when cena showed on smackdown. Wasn't a fan of him but I liked his jobber gimmick, it was funny. The moment I saw his traction and how he nearly went from jobber to main event overnight pissed me off. I quit watching and never came back along with most kids my age. I couldn't stand the whole baggy clothes, a god damn basketballs jersey, the whole lock chain gimmick (im gay so it reminded me of other gay men that wear those, typically power bottoms wear those, lol) and wearing those obnoxious giant hats. Ruined wrestling for me. Overtime yes he got my respect cause I'd see clips of him doing things that were giant feats of strength but I couldn't ever like or relate to the guy, not one time watching hin have i felt like "this is wrestling!" It still feels like that today.
