When you said you see your Grandmother in yourself (and your Mom) b/c of the moles and gap tooth was such a special moment. I think so often people 'dislike' what seems like imperfections but it is such an ode to your lineage and such a sweet tribute to your Grandmother. So often we (as a society) want to follow trends and alter ourselves b/c we idolize a stranger that we have only seen on tv, on a video, on Instagram, in a movie, yet the STRONG WOMEN that has raised, nurtured and who truly love us, just the way are, we often don't realize how much these "facial alterations" must silently hurt them. I LOVE your gap tooth btw. It's what made me tune in YEARS ago! You all may remember the model "Lauren Hutton". She was so unique and beautiful b/c of her gap tooth. I laughed at the sephora haul.....I swear by the sephora cotton pads 🎉 and the Ordinary glycolic acid. I have several of their products in my daily routine ❤.
Hi Queen, I have moles also and it runs in my family. The key to stopping them from popping up is exfoliation. Use a retinol product or the Peter Thomas Roth exfoliation pads and they won't pop up. I use retinol and Paula Choice liquid exfoliator and I don't see them on my face anymore. I was still seeing them around my eyes because I wasn't using an exfoliator or a retinol eye cream. I recently purchased Murad Youth Renewal Serum for eyes with retinol and they have started to disappear. The key is exfoliation/cell turnover to keep them from occurring. My dad has a full face so it definitely runs in my family.

You look incredibly fit. I have a very similar hair texture as yours and I too struggle with the humidity. I do prefer braidouts vs. twists, more texture and last longer. I use Camille Rose Curl Maker or Natures Little Secret Okra gel topped with Mane Krush Kurl Tini gel for a medium to strong hold. Ecoslay Jello Shot is another great strong hold gel. I saturate my hair with each product generously. Diffuse to lock in the style as opposed to air drying. The humidity is SO disrespectful!!! ❤❤

Hi Queen, I have moles also and it runs in my family. The key to stopping them from popping up is exfoliation. Use a retinol product or the Peter Thomas Roth exfoliation pads and they won't pop up. I use retinol and Paula Choice liquid exfoliator and I don't see them on my face anymore. I was still seeing them around my eyes because I wasn't using an exfoliator or a retinol eye cream. I recently purchased Murad Youth Renewal Serum for eyes with retinol and they have started to disappear. The key is exfoliation/cell turnover to keep them from occurring. My dad has a full face so it definitely runs in my family.

LOVE your blogs as always. The mini red dress was so flattering. You look amazing and I personally don't think you look too thin from your weight loss. Those muscles are popping. You look incredibly fit. I have a very similar hair texture as yours and I too struggle with the humidity. I do prefer braidouts vs. twists, more texture and last longer. I use Camille Rose Curl Maker or Natures Little Secret Okra gel topped with Mane Krush Kurl Tini gel for a medium to strong hold. Ecoslay Jello Shot is another great strong hold gel. I saturate my hair with each product generously. Diffuse to lock in the style as opposed to air drying. The humidity is SO disrespectful!!! ❤❤
