    Great tips! I had been doing the pulsing intuitively. Good to know that it actually does something!

    I love my blade grinder. I have a theory that I can get a wide array of grinds in one grind which provide a different range of flavored in one . Probably I’m wrong but it’s just my theory 😊
    I hold mine and shake it while it’s grinding for three second intervals

    Do you recall the washer positions after you remove the blades from the cup?

    A sieve helps too. Sift the fine particles out and throw the coarse ones back in. One has to keep in mind though that there is a minimum amount of coffee required for the blades to actually do some grinding.

    I have a Delonghi KG49 blade grinder, it's not great. However I've seen other videos where you sieve the coffee after it's been through the blade grinder, using a standard metal kitchen sieve. Should be able to get it finer still by doing this. It's extra work and probably still won't be espresso fine but may try it.

    What if I use beans from the freezer? Will the cold temperature of the beans mitigate the heat generated by the blades INCASE i just wanna keep the button pressed for 30 seconds?

    Krups F203 is the only blade grinder I feel is worth buying. The blades are set very low so you don't get build up under them with a very quick to wind up motor for effective pulses. I have found it quite capable for drip brewing.

      Shake as you grind to avoid the build-up.

    I can attest to not spend under 120$ on a burr grinder lol I got a 60$ and doesnt grind fine enough for espresso, I'm actually using a bodum blade grinder now until I can get a Sette 30.

    Propeller grinders have the coolest looking blade.... but it’s incredibly inefficient and as with blenders and whatnot junk gets shtuck
    Idk how im the first to think that ideally they should have the propeller attached to a convex plate much like a cone burr (weather they have teeth or not doesn’t matter)

    I take it you didn't read the directions that came with the Mr. Coffee grinder. inside the bowl that holds the beans is whats called the chamber maid. If you move the very bottom of the bowl around the three divider looking things actually scrapes clean all the coffee that is stuck on the outside of the blade area. that's the only coffee grinder on the market with the chamber maid cleaning system. I thought this was a video on how to get the most of your coffee grinder. the majority of it was about how bad the Mr. Coffee grinder is.

    • @jaimep3432
      @jaimep3432 2 года назад

      I have this grinder and its horrible. The chamber maid is not gonna get all the dust out from under it. Its impossible. Krups makes the highest quality blade grinder for 13 bucks.

    Can just get a hand burr grinder for a decent price, unless you are making coffee for like 8000 people a day, you can survive off of them. An inexpensive electric one is not that bad either.

    Sure a blade grinder is burning my dark roasted coffee beans, have to blow the smoke away every time I use it, really? I keep hearing this, urban legend or marketing by burr grinder companies, not sure which.
