I finally bought this in the medium size based on this review. Received it today and can’t wait to try it out.
the colors on this bag are AWESOME!! I just wish the outer panel was a brighter color, like that cool teal/aqua color
As soon as I finished this video I finally went and bought this bag. Been kind of looking at it for years but never quite pulled the trigger. It fits a capacity gap in my carry collection which jumps from 30L to 65L, so I’m gonna say it was justified 😅 Also I needed a bag that’s not black so that I can see it on the carousel on the rare occasion that I check luggage.
Absolutely love it, always wanted one! Going to get one in the blue/black. I don’t need one but I need one!… Cheers…
I have the same SMALL bag, and it is a fantastic travel bag. The only problem you may have would be traveling with a laptop. I love it. The grab handles on all 4 sides is ideal, and the should straps work well enough for "handles" as well.
Yea for a laptop I put a padded sleeve on it and put it on top

The bag has two things I dont like, the colors (yes im boring) 🤣 and not having at least an optional waist band.
Given the size I think it would benefit with a waist band.

I would be interested to hear more Irene:Defined mini/hot takes. A lot of bags are reviewed by men, but they don’t have same issues as women, shorter torsos, smaller hands, lighter carry weight (despite my tendency to want to overpack😂), aesthetics, and biggest issue/category is “does it pass the boob test?” (Often overlooked by men)
A week ago, I bought my first North Face product (a Recon I saw on sale) because of one of your reviews. And there you are with another North Face video - and your wife makes a comeback in it! Do I need to buy this Duffel bag now? I may get it... Anyway, merry Christmas to you and your family!
You’re not wrong about the NF quality dip. A company is doing something wrong. When most would rather pick up NF gear from 5-10yrs ago because it’s of a much better quality. NF kinda been messing up and idk why they have years of experience. This duffel bag while it’s good, still leaves me feeling sour since for instance their rain coats aren’t what they used to be. I know you mainly focus on bags but their other gear isn’t what they used to be just saying. Anyways thanks for another informative vid, happy holidays.
I agree with you. I have a 15 years old duffel from TNF, still holding well, but I've noticed the quality difference with the new one I bought. 6 months later, I know the new one won't last as long as my first one.
It's 50 litres? It looks massive to be a small. Wish there was like a 20l one. I think the xs is 31l
I have the S and the XS. The XS is pretty small for 31L. Truthfully it is too small for me so I stick with the S size.

Man what happened to duffles with one long strap? You know, for those backpack and duffle bag at the same time carriers. The backpack straps on the duffle doesn’t work for me 🤦♂️

I have Voyager 42L duffel. It is carry on size, some pockets, laptop compartment totaĺy useless... Love it but feels kinda cheap
