I have had this since 26 March (it's been almost 2 MONTHS) and is still happening to me for no reason at all. I never used any some kind of hacks, nor even downloaded it. My Wi-Fi provider has been normal in my entire life but this error just suddenly came out of nowhere. I've also learnt that you can only play in specific time (without getting kicked at all), like the best one is in midnight time from 10.30PM-11PM (Probably still getting kicked), 12AM-6AM (Without getting kicked at all), to 7AM/8AM (Low chance to get kicked) - (for this, idk for sure because SOMETIMES above at 9AM, i still be able to play but sometimes no. It's is really random. Also, remind you that you can play probably once or twice in the afternoon and evening, with the waiting of 2-5 hours. So once again, it is REALLY RANDOM). - Yeah, it ONLY WORKS around midnight, and i know that's hellish just to play Roblox, but remember not to stay up late just to play this outdated greedy corporation game. It is not worth it. This error is really annoying indeed, you would only be joining a game 5 times a day when you could join a game more than 10+ times. Not to mention that you gotta do some event stuff, or you gotta play with your friend. You can try switching to data or different wifi network, It will work and you can play roblox anytime without getting the stupid error 268 code. But take a note that switching to data is NOT RECOMMENDED as It's gonna waste a lot. Best is to connect with different Wi-Fi network. If you ask me how long for this error 268 is going to last, It's probably 1 year or longer... or maybe earlier. Yes you heard it right, because i see people there with this bug ARE STILL EXPERIENCING even after 2 YEARS long. The best way to play roblox without having to wait, and dont want to keep waiting till midnight, is to spam the play button till it lets you join because i do that and MOST of the times it works for me. Just a reminder: if you are new to this bug, the spam method PROBABLY will not work because when i was new to this bug, i did that but nothing happened. As the time passes longer, i do the spam method and it works for me most of the time. If the spam method doesn't work, try closing the roblox app and try again, it works for me (The spam i meant is like, when you click play, you will face the error sign, then you click leave, then click play, then leave, click play again and then leave and so on, repeat it until it lets you join, i do this on mobile and pc shall work too). (FOR MOBILE) This one is kind of 50/50 chance. I tried downloading the vpn and when it got connected, It's always failing to connect the game for me. But for others, it worked. So you should give it a try. For PC users having the exact problem, i think you MIGHT still fix it. But for mobile, i have no clue AT ALL. I've tried everything i could like clearing the cache and even data, reinstalling many many times, restarting the phone, waiting for hours and hours, but it just wouldn't go away. The TUTORIALS you see there on RUclips, TikTok, or others don't even work. This bug is unfixable. The one who tells you to wait for 30 mins, or 1 hour, or log out then log in back, clear cache, re-install the app, restart your phone, contact roblox support or bla bla bla are BULLSHITS! That ain't even gonna work because i DID them ALL but still, can't be fixed. Contacting Roblox Support is also useless. Why? Because they would just straight up saying "We are aware of this issue and currently working to ensure It's resolved. We appreciate your patience." yeah flip that sheet bro, THIS ERROR HAS BEEN NEARLY 3 YEARS AGO AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T FIXED IT, THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS BUG. So I would say, the ways you can prevent this bug are to wait until midnight, spam, or change network. Other than that, won't work. Tips from me: do not open roblox often, try rarely to open roblox and you might play only once a day or maybe twice but thats what i did for the first time ever experiencing the bug. I rarely open roblox and as soon as i play it works and no error. But you no need to worry about having to wait for too long and thinking you can't play all day like you used to anymore, because the time when you have been too long with this bug, you can just spam and no need to wait at all. For me, as for now, the bug is getting less annoying. First time experiencing this, it did not let me join even if i waited for hours. But time's passed, been 2 months with this bug, i dont need to wait, i just spam a little bit and it already let me join, also SOMETIMES i can join the game without getting any kicked. So I'd say it again - Best way to prevent this: - Wait until midnight (for not getting kicked at all) - Wait for 2-5+ hours - Spam the play button - Open Roblox rarely - Change with another Wi-Fi provider - Switch to data (Not recommended) • Why did i say using data isn't recommended? Because It's going to waste a lot. I want you guys to keep and save your money for good, not buying more data just to play this game. Other than that, no problem. • How does the spam even work? Okay, i know it sounds stupid and makes no sense, but if you think about it, when you spam the play button, It's like you are forcing the system to let you in, and MOST OF THE TIME, it works for me. Usually, it only takes me around 2-4 taps. But sometimes, it takes me around 6-10+ taps. If It doesn't work, I usually just close the app first, then open it again, and then continue spamming. But, if It doesn't work either, I just don't open the app anymore, or maybe let it cool down for a bit, wait for 5-15 mins, then do it again. We can't solve, we can only prevent it. NOTE that all i have said are based from my own experience. People may have their personal way to fix this issue to be able to join, BUT i really hope that this can help you out. A tip for you :that a soft ban ,, means Roblox don't want changing server fast and u need break it will end in 30min or 2 hour if u keep joining it will reset.

Message: “you’ve been banned, please close the server and reconnect.” When a hacker exploits, teleports, report him so they can get the 268 for unexpected behaviour, also can appear when swearing to get error code 273 4+ It’s not real when ur terminated or banned like the error code 264-278, it can only appear by 273-267 Also, this will attract some 010010101010101010100 the hacker fav number when getting them reported for 268

Listen, I got kicked for unexpected client behavior too. Its just bad Internet connection for me. Make sure you check your Internet connection. I'm pretty sure because I didn't exploit in the game I was playing, I'm sure roblox would fix it too.
Explanation: This is not bypassable. This is called a HWID Ban meaning that either someone ran a script on you or something related to scripts. Its probably Byfron Technologies way of bans but It is PERMANENT. Those who got to join on specific timeframes must have another problem. Most common is a HWID Ban. You basically get roblox game ban.
Error code 268 is sometimes a soft-ban, a soft ban is basically roblox telling you to take a break. It usually lasts 1-4 hours, but sometimes it takes much longer for some reason. The methods to fix it are: turn off and on mobile data/wifi/ turn on and off airplane mode, clear all roblox data and log back in to roblox, restart ur device, reinstall roblox. (If it lasts longer than a day, i don't really know what to do. Sometimes, it's a problem with ur Internet or can't connect to ur WiFi. Try playing roblox whenever u are at a different place like a hotel and use that WiFi.)

Its happen because nowadays many games use hop server, and if u not hacker and still got that error, 100% is because the game u play. Example is going to TRADING PLAZA in game its count as hop server and if u do many times this error will appear.
Update: guys its gone now i have had it for 1 year and i can play now or server hop with no issues you just have to wait for it to fix for 1 year and its gone :D

The reason this is happening is because roblox thinks that ur files are corrupted but they arnt so the easiest fix is just delete all files

Listen, I got kicked for unexpected client behavior too. Its just bad Internet connection for me. Make sure you check your Internet connection. I'm pretty sure because I didn't exploit in the game I was playing, I'm sure roblox would fix it too.

Error code 268 is sometimes a soft-ban, a soft ban is basically roblox telling you to take a break. It usually lasts 1-4 hours, but sometimes it takes much longer for some reason. The methods to fix it are: turn off and on mobile data/wifi/ turn on and off airplane mode, clear all roblox data and log back in to roblox, restart ur device, reinstall roblox. (If it lasts longer than a day, i don't really know what to do. Sometimes, it's a problem with ur Internet or can't connect to ur WiFi. Try playing roblox whenever u are at a different place like a hotel and use that WiFi.)

This started to happen to me when they released display names, i wanted to get the update early because it only released to some countries b4 so i watched a tutorial on how to get it early and they told me to change my vpn to hongkong so meaning im stuck in hong kong servers and roblox thinks im trespassing by going to servers that isnt mine
So what this is, is basically a shadow ban because they think you exploiting with could be fixed from 30 minutes - 2 hours automatically or you could watch a video to fix it

Its happen because nowadays many games use hop server, and if u not hacker and still got that error, 100% is because the game u play. Example is going to TRADING PLAZA in game its count as hop server and if u do many times this error will appear.
Update: guys its gone now i have had it for 1 year and i can play now or server hop with no issues you just have to wait for it to fix for 1 year and its gone :D
