In all my 65 years of Metal,I've never heard anything like the bands of Tuomas Saukkonen.Tuomas,you are amazing !! What a contribution to the metal world. Finland has a sound of their own !!
Yeah. Tuomas is really really talented. Finland has a lot of really good and unique sounding metal bands. We in finland are pretty proud of those bands.

I agree, he is just that awesome! There are a few in this world and I'm thankful for that, Another example in my opinion is Devin Townsend, also a real genius!

You should check out Reinxeed. I'm not sure that you'll like them much, but the singer played all of the instruments on the first album. Which isn't easy to do for a metal band.
Still holding out hope that someday, Lars and Tuomas will work together again. Their vocals are just perfect together.

too bad they broke up. but the vocalist/guitar player is in another band called Wolfheart who are just as good as Before the Dawn. all of his projects are top tier though.

This is an addictive making Death Metal song. Short, melodic, heavy as shit, and with a chorus line that makes addictive. Totally underrated band - the world should listen!

Bought the ltd edition of this with the sleeve on cd when it was first released. This is one of my favourite songs ever. I saw Tuomas and the band in the Camden Underworld over ten years ago and it was one of the best nights of my life. Tuomas is amazing live.

I can NEVER get enough of this song. I blast it and it puts me in such a good mood! Especially watching these guys have so much fun making the video and playing their music. That's the most epic part.
@Xripunoff Actually all drum tracks on the new album are played with Acrylic drums. Snare was Ludwig Supraphonic but rest was done with Kirchhoff set that is on the video also. Very sharp tom sound that stands out well in fills etc. -Tuomas/BTD-

@Xripunoff Bass drum was replaced with an sample but not the toms. I wanted the drums to have as mush as natural dynamics as possible. Our drummer wanted to play with his own set and after testing few kits we decided to go with the acrylic set. replacing the toms with samples was an plan B but result was so good that there was no point to do so.

Who cares if the video is "simple"...if you really need to say something talk about the great music they play,their endless passion and talent and the things that many bands don't seem to have nowadays!they are a great example of how music should be made!one thing that amazes me is the fact they don't recycle themselves and keep on evolving..
