    I personally love the Hill. Very convenient to get to classes in a few minutes, got freedom tower, got the Rot a very short walk away, and most people in the dorms there keep their doors open for others to come in and hang out.

    HI GUYS! I noticed that a good amount of new people are watching this video! This is from 2 years ago & a LOT has changed. I'm planning on making an updated video like this, but the main thing I want to say: the hill is SO nice after it's renovation! everyone keeps coming at me for this video but it is from 2 years ago & so much is different hahaahaha new one coming soon I promise!!!

    Liberty is my dream University, it's a Christian school, the people seem friendly and goofy (from all the videos I've watched haha.) and the physiology classes are amazing, which are the classes I need to take for my future dream job. And on the plus side, my mom went to the school. I have less than two years before I can even try to get in, but I've been studying super hard and my GPA is super high, I'm also homeschooled which most colleges/universities' like. My mom has confidence I'll get it in, but.. she's my mom so she has to say that for one, and for two I'm sure there's going to be tons and tons of other people putting in applications. I'll just continue to work hard and pray, if it's meant for me, the Lord will be it happen. :)

    Ok... So I am going to defend East, I'm currently a freshman and our building has great community! We have hall events and dinners. We currently do Pancakes on Saturday with bible study, we have Teaology: we discuss theology and have tea! We do community dinners on Wednesday and Thursday! Go East 171!!!

    This is exactly why I wanna dorm east. I like being alone where I can study and avoid social settings. It's distracting.

    At first I was surprised that you put east as number 8 but it totally makes sense. Personally I didn’t have any issues as a freshman because I roomed with a close friend and everyone in my quad gets along and is pretty close. Most of my other friends who are freshman and live on east though haven’t had as good an experience as I have though. I definitely wouldn’t suggest it to a freshman, especially one who’s coming in and doesn’t really know anyone already, but I’d definitely suggest it to anyone else. It’s a really good place to live if you want an off campus living feel but you’re too young to live off campus, or you don’t have a car.

      @readingwithalym  5 лет назад +1

      Melissa Renae I 100% agree!!! As any other year, it would be probably one of the best places to live! But unless you have friends coming in, it wouldn’t be the best place to meet people! Couldn’t have said it better! So glad you had a great freshman year!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

    I'm going to be a freshman at Liberty this fall. I'm staying in an East Campus double. They are far away but it makes them quieter. It has a kitchen plus a parking garage (opening for the first time this fall). Personally, I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of community for a kitchen and more space. Also freshmen can park on campus

    Thank you!! I'm going to Liberty for CFAW next week because I'm going there for classes next fall and because of price I was thinking of going to East instead of the commons but your reasoning made alot of sense.

    I’m starting in the Fall of 2019 and I live only 10-15 minutes away from campus, so I’ll likely just commute. But I was wondering if I were to make friends with someone who lives in let’s say the commons or any dorm for that matter. Would I be able to hang out with them in their common area?

    Girl you hit it on the nose with East. I'm moving to Commons as soon as I get back on campus!

    With any hall you choose, your experience honestly depends on who else is also living there. I lived in the Quads my freshman year at Liberty and it was the best hall of all four years with awesome community! Other years in the Quads didn't have quite the same feel (still good experiences, though not as close with people some of the other years). I stayed friends with several others from that 1st year through the rest of my college years, even when others ended up in different dorms over time. I stayed in Commons 1 the first year that was open but didn't hang out in the common area as much (I'm a more introverted person haha), so maybe didn't enjoy that hall as much as others who did spend more time socializing. The Dunkin Donuts was a plus though! The commons are much larger halls so harder to get to know the majority of the people (besides those consistently in the common area), whereas having a smaller group I lived with in the Quads was much more fitting for me personally. And I would get to meet others in other quads as well with meetings with the entire hall. Hope this helps!

    Hi! I’m going to liberty in the fall so I’ve been binging a lot of your videos 😆 I know this is an old video so I hope you’ll still see this. Are there indoor common areas and kitchens in the hill or the circle? I can’t find much information about the inside of the dorms other than the rooms themselves.

    • @ashleyfullofgrace32
      @ashleyfullofgrace32 3 года назад

      Hi! Former LU student here. The only dorms with a kitchen are East and the Quads. Your only real "common area" within the Hill and Circle would be the hallway all of the rooms connect with. And the shared bathrooms on your hall where you'd run into people from your entire hall. But of course people visit in each others' rooms too- you just can't have guys coming in girls dorms or vice versa.

  • @kaylasparks1794
    @kaylasparks1794 5 лет назад +3

    Does the circle have a common area where the guys and girls can all hang out like the other dorms?

    • @mulbcrry
      @mulbcrry 5 лет назад

      No, unfortunately not. There are open dorms once a month, but other than that, no. If you do want something like that though, the Commons buildings as I have heard do have shared common areas.

      I’m signed up for East as a freshman too! I stayed at East when I went to CFAW and loved the layout of the apartment style and the way that the girls all lived like a little family. If you’re still signed up for east, don’t worry you’ll have another freshman there with ya! 😂
