Personally I gave this a shot, because of the novels and comic books I had read with Boba Fett starting back in 1995. I thought Boba Fett was just an extraordinary Bounty Hunter and even in the Novelisation of Episode 2 he is already shown to be (at 12 years old) tactically superior to Jango in every way. things that took Jango over a decade to learn Boba knew them at his very young age. It was only Jango's experience and size that were better than Boba's. Boba was more of a tactician and even more emotionally ruthless. I didn't really think this was al that bad at first, but this show REALLY softened Boba Fett to the point where the person who went INTO the Sarlac was not the same person that came out. And to some degree that makes sense, BUT this did not seem like "Boba Fett." The fact that the main character from another show was the ONLY universally loved part, is very telling as to how greatly this show suffered from bad writing and poor cinematic execution.
I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, hoping it would only get better from there, and things spiralled out of control. That said, I loved the Luke Skywalker episode, and no amount of shaming will ever change my mind about that.

Now, in my opinion, fan fics can work if they're made with passion and full understanding of the world you're creating, but this is just a clown fest. I think the worst one so far was The Acolyte. @@DarthAngel2 yeah. I wasn't that much of a fan of Star Wars, but I liked it. The characters, the world building, the music, the fight scenes. All of them was great. Then George Lucas left and some feminist lunatic took over and made it into her atrocious fan fiction. Old characters either died or turned into hollowed out husks with no purpose and the new characters are flawless and never struggle. Now, in my opinion, fan fics can work if they're made with passion and full understanding of the world you're creating, but this is just a clown fest. I think the worst one so far was The Acolyte. Terrible writing, terrible characters/designs, terrible combat sequences and terrible acting. Star Wars died after Return of the Jedi.

This show managed to do literally everything possible wrong. Not even the scene of boba crawling out of the sarlac was cool, if i remember right, he kind sits there on all fours and super anti- climatically falls over unconscious for no reason.
