I agree the rides with Larry show just what an artist he really is and how he's responsible for helping push this drifting world to the next level with the publicity he provides. Larry is the man and I'm glad we got to see the in car view of what's going on.

That car was local to me here in Cheyenne, was always at the local meet. It got creamed from behind at a stop light a few years ago but looks like it was fixed well. Had to take double take when I saw it in the thumbnail lol
Damn it was crazy to see some in car from Larry’s chase cam, what a brilliant but terrifying way to capture drifting. That was a great video Tom, thank you

Ahh it's a RHD.... that's why the value isn't as high as a USDM one would be. The super valuable ones are 1988-89 and 1994/95 models in either supercharged or turbo configurations USDM, The SW is still a super good value for money imported ones can be had all day below 20k still. Been in the MR2 game for awhile now great community and I'm glad the cars are still underappreciated it just makes them still more accessible.
He mentioned he has a dealer tag. Which means you can temporarily drive it without any of that type of paperwork. They give dealers these tags so that they can transport cars from auctions and shops without having to spend tag and tax fees while still having a registered tag that has insurance attached to it.

@@negativeindustrial I agree, but the uniqueness of an AW11 build w the lower compression supercharged motor has possibility’s imo. I get the 3S-GTE is the better motor, but I’m sucker for the AW11. Hope this car gets a solid build. Has a lot of potential.
@@christiannieves4380 Back in the day, we added a turbo manifold and a used CT-26 we had laying around from when we upgraded the turbo on my Celica to one of our buddy’s 1988 MR2 S/C. It was a very garage build setup but that car was sick. The turbo erased the plateau that the GZE motor has and it pulled hard to redline. The first day we got it back on the road, the pod filter came flying out from under the car on I10 and almost caused two other cars (friends of ours) to wreck trying to avoid it.
