How to Replace Broken Kohler Canister Flush Valve to Fix Fast Running Toilet

If you have a Kohler toilet  then you may have the new 3 inch canister valve system. The piece that holds the canister to the toilet has a quarter turn to release it. But sometimes the piece that holds it in place breaks.
In this video, I’ll go over exactly how I fixed mine and how to adjust the water level when you’re done.
To replace the Kohler canister flush valve is pretty easy. You may have to replace the seal as well, but the new canister comes with a new seal already attached.
