Thank you brother! This was actually supposed to be 3-4 minutes, but the areas we planned to shoot the rest in were overrun with water as the tide had come up a lot sooner than expected. Though, I am very interested in elevating this into a short film, so we may see that happen! I always run a decent size rig, so the weight helps with a lot of the micro jitters. But this day I ran a slightly smaller rig, so there was a shot or two that I applied stabilization to in DVR, like the wide shot where she is walking between the rocks @0:33. For that I used a little bit of Perspective Stabilization. Other than that, it’s all just a matter of the weight of my rig and handheld technique
Thanks bro! AF is more of a nice-to-have than a necessity for what I do. So, I much prefer the nightwalkers. I really enjoy the control and creative freedom of manual focus, and the better focus-pulling experience. Even if it takes a little more work. It’s something I happily take on, even for solo run & gun work. Aside from that, the build quality, appearance, and the filter thread & size consistency throughout the set is another reason I prefer them.
@@Eyeofkamau that’s what I kind of figured, but it’s nice to hear it from someone with the same set up as me. I use MF 90% of the time as well. Mostly for the same reasons as you, partly because Fuji’s AF is trash 🚮😂
@CREO.. totally understandable hahah. Fuji is pretty far behind in terms of AF capability. We’ll see what this new update does for the XH2s and autofocus users. I’ve got my expectations low. I am certainly looking forward to the alleged new video features that are coming though.
This is amazing
Great work! Wish it was longer, i would actually enjoy watching a short film from that concept.
Btwhow do you keep your handheld so steady?

Looking good bro, What do you prefer? the Nightwalkers or Snipers?

@@Eyeofkamau I’m in the same boat, low expectations 😂 I wish I could revert to the 1.0 firmware without losing all the other stuff they’ve added
