Hey Doctor, i was taking hydrochlorothiazide, and my nurse practitioner (care provider) told me that my A1C was moving up. At the time, I did not know what she meant; however, I later found out that it was retated to diabetes. Nevertheless, I do not have diabetes. So, after my caregiver told me this, I stopped taking them (hydrochlorothiazide).
Thanks for sharing; however, ARBs are not talked about much. I think the reason this drug is not popular is, because doctors like to promote the blood pressure meds that cause more side effects. Smh
