She got her money's worth, she added something to her scalp to keep from not smelling fresh, I love her thick hair and color. Good for you, if it works.
you can use Sea Breeze Astringent & cotton balls. Carefully part your hair load up sb on you cb and wipe down the part & releases all the dirt making your scalp feel freshly wash. I works fantastic on braids too.
Yes!! I’ve never heard anyone else say this. I used to Sea Breeze my braids back in the 90s! Every night and tied them down. Scalp was clean and it made them lay flat. I did it on my own randomly and it just worked for me!
Wow 75 days for a silk press! This the press I need in my life. I’ve made it a month and some change with a silk press but my hair was crying for help about mid week 2.
I’m 75 years old and I have done this with out washing during Covid. It was not that dirty, and no smell. I only used the curling iron a couple of times a week, and it still It looked great and I slept with a cap. No dry wash. No burning scalp. But I was so glad to finally have it washed at my salon.
@@w.thomas306didn't you see how old she said she was???? You just straight up disrespectful and rude! She said she was 75 years old. Have some respect, grace and class about yourself to older people. You don't know if she has a disability or not ass
I only wash my hair once every quarter or so. I don’t use a lot of product though but yes when your hair is heat trained you can do a good silk press for 3 months. My hair tends to grow better dirty.. I had more breakage washing my hair every 2-3 weeks.
Seems like that for most black women. I wash mine every two to three weeks but I have to be honest chile, my head be itching like crazy! 😂 omg 🤦🏽♀️ I’m due for a wash right nie!
I just took braids I had in my hair for 6 1/2 months. My hair was so damaged & short when it was first done. Now my hair is beautiful. I've used dry shampoo twice & actually washed it twice. I had no dreads & for the first time !I didn't have a bunch of hair breaking off when washing after taking the braids down. I had no itchy scalp. I think it depends on the person. Sometimes the titles to these videos will scare the he'll out of you! 😆 I don't think this is a nasty person. Not a Summer Walker type, IMO! Be blessed!
@asiadp she doesn't bathe regularly. Like not even weekly type schedule. So I could only imagine her scalp schedule. Thinking about it gets me nauseated 😫 😵 😝
It’s possible I have done it before. I don’t accumulate a lot of sweat so my hair can stay clean for a long time. I have went six months without washing my hair and it still look brand new.
It works for some, but for others.... 😶🌫️ I would not make it 30 days, let alone 75. I HAVE to WASH at least once a week. At 75 days, my interest in it would be gone and a new hairstyle will have arisen. 😂 More power to her though. 💝
Or maybe she's tryna conserve the look without adding more heat. I know my hair hates the heat. So, I straighten my hair no more than 2x a year, usually only once. I try to stretch that silk press as long as possible. And my husband is a cosmetologist, so the money isn't my issue. The struggle gets real out here, in many different ways. ❤
Yeah, everybody scalp is different. With my loc I can definitely go more than two months without washing my head. It is not my preference, but Seabreeze is a great astringent or witch hazel for the scalp
I don't think that's necessarily true. There are other ways to keep your scalp and hair clean without full washes. Besides, it can be more beneficial for our stands to avoid stripping them of accumulated oils. And we all know how precious good moisture is for kinky hair. I haven't gone longer than a month before, but I can definitely see how this could be just fine if done right.
If you stop using sulfates, petroleum, and soybean oil products, scalp health becomes a different situation. Once I stopped using petroleum to oil my scalp, dandruff was a memory. And the intense itching? I forgot how bad it was until just now! and its been over 10 years.
First of all, we have no proof that it's been 75 days. We weren't there. However, if it's true, to each his own. The hair is really pretty. If she's maintaining healthy, long hair with fewer washes, more power to her.😊
I have locs so i can go for long periods of time without washing and i keep my scalp oiled plus ive never had issues with itching..and i get a retwist every 3 months. They're so long and beautiful ❤
Not for me. My scalp needs cleansing. I shampoo my hair weekly every 2 weeks at the most and by the end of 2 weeks my scalp is burning and itchy. I do what works for me so Sundays are my day to shampoo & deep condition my hair.
Maybe she doesn’t do work or anything that makes her sweat lmao. I sweat too much , and i already don’t wash my hair more than once or twice a week bc over 10 years. I’ve just learned what works best for my hair. It’s never been down my back, it’s almost touching my ass now & yeah. Well I’m probably like 6 inches away. There’s videos on tik tok of a woman who follows older I think 1700/1800’s hair methods? Long long long beautiful hair, taken care of with oils and horse hair brushes. Amazing
Omg, that's her hair!! You can't see how she's running her fingers through it? I actually saw her scalp. If it was some pieces in there, why does it matter?! Always black women hating on each other!!
You know there are techniques for washing your hair with the box braids installed? I've done it all from scalp cleansers to full washes, cuz you best believe I keep my braids at least 3 months. I have a lot of hair, so the time alone that it takes to braid them, then talk about taking them down? Yes, ma'am, Ima take the most convenient route. 😅

Shes definitely doing something right Sis Hair is Gorgeous 😍😍😍😍
My scalp would be itching soooo bad after all that time. The trade off of not using heat as often for an itchy, nasty scalp. I’m good!
It wouldn't be nasty if people would keep all the goop out of their hair instead of JUST natural oils....
She can part her hair and oil her scalp
Her hair is gorgeous 😍🥰😍 she obviously doing something else we don't know about. Sometimes washing does dry your hair out
She got her money's worth, she added something to her scalp to keep from not smelling fresh, I love her thick hair and color. Good for you, if it works.
That's what I said. Because I do it too
Her hair is extremely beautiful ❤The curls are everlasting😊The color is healthy and shiny! I have gone longer without washing mine due to stress.😮

@ lol I don't sweat
Same!
Some people assume because they start stinking, that it happens to everyone. But not over here lmao

When my hair was relaxed, I did this. It didn't stink and no flakes. I used Vaseline on my scalp and it grew like crazy. No breakage.
It’s still beautiful.
I think she's trying to save money. Styles are charging a lot of money for a silk press. So she's probably trying to see how long can she weigh it out

My daughter gets her hair washed every 3 months. Never complains about itching and never smell anything. Her hair is almost to her butt at 17.
Some people get noseblind to their own smell so just cause you can't smell anything doesn't mean it ain't there.
Whoever did her highlights did the damn thing

Hopefully, she use dry shampoo and some good oils. Cause I'd be itching and throwing fits.
I suspect she cleans her scalp.
I’m assuming her hair must smell horrible ! lol not washing it for 75 days !!!

I used to only wash my hair every few months. Never had issues. Never smelled. But maybe im just luckily
