I’m 12 years old on winter break and I’m trying these tomorrow by myself. Wish me luck😆😬 Edit: I did them yesterday and I’m in love just need to work more on the parting next time😊
I did mine maybe a week ago and they look more natural now ☺️ I did a different method though. I lovvved that green it’s so pretty I think I may do navy next time.

watching the top view was SO helpful. Especially since you added hair from the very beginning of the braid ( that made it easier for me to see when to add the 2nd and 3rd pieces of braiding hair) i will be trying this style next. Thanks so much.
THE BEST TUTORIAL YET!!!! THANK YOUUUUUU!! The way you positioned the camera and everything made seeing the process so much easier. I loved the technique of starting with the braiding hair. Thank you!

It doesn't matter how beginner friendly watching people braid is so confusing. I know how to braid I just have to work on more secure new braids, but honestly I'm not understanding the method except that you braid your real hair first a bit

I have a couple of comments lol. 1. I have thin hair too and I watched like 20 videos and no one had suggestions for thin hair girls. 2. When I did my knotless box braids I parted in the “U” method because I ddnt want my hair to look thinner than it was. the “U” method it gave me a fuller effect. 3. Since I’ve had mine for 3 weeks already I’ve noticed it looks more like my real hair. 4. For myself I would change the amount of gel I used because I’ve experienced lil flaks. 5. Lastly... I always look at your video for my style options because my hair is very similar to yours so THANK YOU. there’s not many RUclipsrs that have thin hair and rock it (not to say they’re not out here)
Thank you for all the details. I definitely plan on doing this style again. I started with the U parting but then had to improvise for the top cause I felt like there was too much space. I can't wait to do this again and make them even fuller.
Thanks for the advice. I have thin hair at the front and back of my head. I thought of using the U parting but never did because no one I had seen used it. I will use it next time. When I took mine out, there was far less breakage too than when I use the usual braiding method. I'll be braiding my hair with this method for sure.
I’m half way through finishing my braids. I have to say your video truly truly helped me. I must’ve watched at least 20 videos. No shade to other ladies because they did a phenomenal job. I just for some reason could not follow along. But this video was perfect. Next thing is I need to work on tightness and parting. I’m struggling with my left side because I’m right handed 😩. Thanks so much for sharing.
Girl you're perfect in my eyes. Your beauty takes my breath away. Your braids are also perfect for almost every occasion. ... Btw, you have naturally beautiful hair
Hi Kersti..New subie and girl your tutorial is on FLEEK and what a real tutorial should be doll. I loved how genuine you are and I can't imagine how your arms must feel after that ReDo😭 tears for you my dear. Keep blessing us.
I just installed some knotless box braids! It's definitely hard to get it tight but I love your modified method. The only thing is I braid underhand so it's a lot harder to get that reinforcement. I'm glad ppl are moving towards knotless braids though because it really is reduced tension.
Girl please......this was THE BEST tutorial I've seen on this. Plain and simple. By the way, my hair texture is very similar to yours and our hair type is hard to braid at the roots and have thick braids because it's fine and silky, so I feel your pain. Coarse, thick hair is much easier to braid in general.
wow so gorgeous! This video was the best tutorial I have found. You really took your time to show how you actually move the hair through your fingers. Also I appreciate your changes you made to custom fit your hair thickness to make it work for you and what I will need to do for myself so thank you:) you're very pretty with and without the braids.
This was so informative! I like that you showed different ways that all worked but also what was the best option for you. These braids intimidate me a bit from other videos I’ve seen but after watching your video I think I’m ready! Thanks and you’re hair looks great and the color is so pretty on you!
I'm going to be trying this ASAP! Purchasing hair Friday hoping to do Sunday. This video helps alot because she is doing her own braids, not braiding someone else hair.
Nice results. I want to try these on myself. I always braid all the way down because the other method would drive in crazy, to me that takes longer. ;-)

I want to to try them on my sister, her hair is long enough and I’m excited to learn them. Probably gonna use myself as test doll though 😅
Kersti Pitre I am
I want to try this on my own head too. Seems like it wouldn’t get messed as fast as regular box braids. Also looks light weight too. ♥️
Me not yet 😅.... I will try in the future tho.
You look exactly like Karreuche😱 don’t let Chris see you sis🤧

Girl you killed it the first time!! Knotless braids usually leave a lot of space how you had it. You made it look effortless! Thank you
Agree, I don't have that kind of time😂
I love that it's not too much hair. I have a hard time finding someone that will not use so much hair. I don't like heavy hair.
Jess Skubi I'm the same exact way. I hate my hair too heavy. That’s why the knotless is a better option for me lol

I love the green!
