Oberdorf is weirdly always cracked, last year her Futties was also pretty good even though she looked like trash, it was a hidden gem, used her for the objective you had to do with those cards and was very impressed, she also always feels like she has way more pace than it says on the card

I have the La Roja version of Natalia Ramos who has really similar playstyles and plays way above her card appearance. Not surprised Oberdorf is great as well, surprised the community is dunking on that card.
It's not that this game is more competitive this year, the problem is that the skill is being removed each year, little by little. Defenders have so much aura it's impossible to score at high elo without mechanic abuse. Not to mention the physics/engine of this game and way too many animations kill any flow and just mud gameplay. This game wouldn't pass as a beta in most other communities.

It’s a combo of everything, but that being paired with how competitive it is is kinda bs for anyone who’s a casual player
