I believe the image on the scroll comes from a Jungkook "joking" drawing of Bang P. D. the CEO of Big Hit, BTS's management company. Unlike many idols, BTS has been blessed with a CEO who allows considerable creative freedom by his artists and Suga is literally paying homage to how his ability to show off his 'genius" has been a source of Bang P. D.'s revenues going up. Even King Suga in this video gives a thumbs up when Bang P.D. is mentioned in the flow unlike all his other actions which are stepping on people and cutting off heads.
RM and Suga were popular underground rappers in SKorea. RM is fluent in english so he knows about american rap, he mixes the two languages together for his word play. SK rappers were upset when they became Idols, they felt RM and Suga were selling out. RM and Suga say what they want about the haters on their solo projects. Now they're worldwide superstars, where are those other underground rappers 8yrs later?👏🕺🎶🎤👑🌎
King of flow, the never ending switch, the delivery ,,,the switch to korean to English with the same flow damn that’s a true talent man ,,,That’s Rap Monster of BTS ,,,,..glad to be an Army
"Yesterday's me is still me", not such a big deal to call him rap monster, but he has acknowledged that he has outgrown the name and musically Rap Monstar as a professional name limited his growth. JK still calls him Rap Mon.
RM did not change his name to real me. RM is short for Rap Monster or RapMon. He was very careful and thoughtfully wrote a letter to fans about his name change to RM. A host on Entertainment Tonight asked him what the name change meant to him and at that moment he said "I don't know...real me or something" but this was after he told the host that RM didn't stand for anything, he said "I just abbreviated" but still some fans have made the decision to run with that which is completely unfair to RM. After that interview the boys did a VLive broadcast where they discussed the name change again and RM again said he didn't have a meaning for it. Here are both clips; the name change discussion is at the end of the Entertainment Tonight interview, so you can skip to the end of the first clip... Hope this helps! ruclips.net/video/PczCrxMzeV8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/FFrEsDAkwLQ/видео.html
Basically, he goes by "RM" and if you tell new people it stands for "Rap Monster" it's easier for them to remember the initials. He never really went by "real me" just RM. JungKook says he'll always be "RapMon" to him and also loves calling out RrrrrrrapMonster the same way they do J-Hoooooooope! Also, I believe he still produces under "Mon studio" so knowing he started as Rap Monster keeps it all connected.
@@OkieCam16 he has changed his studio name to Rkive. I definitely feel that the name Rap Monster, Rap Mon and Moni are all names to be respected, just as much as RM and Namjoon.

He is the composer and lyricist for alot of the group's discography. As you may know by now, there's no weak link in this group, each of the 7 are the main characters!
My favourite SUGA's songs are The Last, So far away, Honsool, First love, Never Mind, Interlude: Shadow I think you will enjoy his song Agust D, it goes a lot harder than Daechwita
The painting on the scroll in Agust D's "Daechwita" MV is of Bang PD, Suga's boss. The "D" in Daechwita is pronounced as "T", the "w" is silent. Daechwita is a traditional Korean music genre from the Joseon dynasty, which was played during royalty processions, for magistrates and also as Korean military marching music (reference to A.R.M.Y. - BTS' fandom). The gun at the end is a "Colt 1860 ARMY", basically implying that with the help of A.R.M.Y., Suga takes down the Emperor.
When Korean is romanized the letters b and p, d and t and also g and k has a similar or middleground sound and depending on your pronounciation the d in daechwita can sound pretty much like t.
@@Cookie_moonlove I was about to comment about the T thing X_D Also, as a phonetist: b and p, d and t, g and k are the same letter with the only difference that you exhale (ptk) or not (bdg). And this is mantained in Hangeul if you see the letters are "derivatives" one from the other (in Japanese as well with the " and the º, and many languages like German too, where depending on the position the pronunciation changes). There are cool videos about that (b/p, d/t, g/k) around yt if you are curious! ^^

4:30 that drop is of BangPD the CEO of BigHit Entertainment in a few of their RunBTS episodes they make drawings like this as a joke. This video was a gift to ARMY to dance and listen to. He made mention of the fact that he made the song not for the lyrics but for people to have fun with.
You picked up on RM’s style - he stated in the MOTS7 The Journey interview that he cares more about lyrics and less on the commercial sound. He doesn’t always have a hook.
That face-calligraphy kinda thing is bts inside joke when they played guess the drawing and the had to draw their company’s CEO. The lyrics at that part said “Bang Shi Hyuk dances because the company’s revenue goes up”. The youngest, Jungkook came up with those 3-stroke painting that now we all know as BigHit’s CEO, Bang Shi Hyuk.

It was the Run the Jewels beat! This song came from his free mixtape titled RM, where he rapped over multiple beats from other artist's songs, including Chase & Status, Drake, J Cole, and Major Lazer
DKDKtv does an excellent job of explaining Daechwita. There is a mix of Korean legends, folk lore, and symbolism along with an explanation of the lyrics.

Suga learned that sword dance in two days. @_@ Daechwita is a type of traditional music that was played to let the people know the King or his military were marching through... hence "Play it loud". DKDKTV does a great break down of the lyrics and you'll get the historical and cultural Korean references from the MV as well. Both Suga and RM produced their tracks as well. And you are correct, the beat is Run the Jewels.
Seeing that no one has answered in the comments yet... As far as I know - for the Bang PD drawing on the scroll - the term you're looking for is Hiragana Man (for the Japanese version). I am uncertain if Korea has a Hangul equivalent.
Daechwita I believe means to bow down to. Previously commoners would need to kneel down and bow with eyes downcast when the King or Royalty approached. And yes those kneeling could be stepped on like stepping stones.

Everything Suga does makes a statement. There are no favorites becuz they all kick ass. Agust D, Daechwita and Shadow make my head bang. As a matter of fact; I would love to see Daechwita in concert in front of 90K ARMIES, head banging their asses off! We would bring down that stadium. RRRRRAp Monster! RM is the poet laureate of this generation. Mono is a Masterpiece and JOKE slays! RM brings me to my knees with his verbal way of swinging for the fences. FYI: I don't know if you eat McDonalds but on May 26th, you can get a BTS meal. Also, BTS is releasing a new song called Butter. I hope you will listen to it.
Suga and RM were part of underground rap before joining BigHit. RM was retained by BigHit because of his rap abilities. Suga was hired to write and produce before he was talked into joining BTS on the promise it would be a HipHop group which is the genre they debuted as. It has naturally morphed into what they are today because of the varied talents within the group.
Yip RM used Run the Jewels beat with permission. In order to best understand the Daechwita video I highly recommend you watch the video Bookish Theories instead of the DKDKTV video for this one because it is really brilliant 🤯👌
the picture tou were asking about in daechitwa is actually a drawing jungkook draw of bang pd their boss the ceo of bighit thats why u could see in the lyrics it said “bang pd nim keep dancing”
My Fav Suga aka Agust D would be #The Last( This is the first ever BTS or BTS members song ever I listened to & the lyrics & the emotions its intrigued me) #Interlude : Shadow #Daechwita ofcourse #What do u think???? #Strange feat RM #First Love (About his love for Piano) #So far away feat Suran #Seesaw #Dear my Friend

Don't forget ugh! As well
@@tonilunt3635 Oh yes, that one too
@@lilyLovesStories tbh I don't have a fave bts song hahahah or their genre, only thing I do is when they Stan rap i always recommend cypher, ddaeng and ugh! 😊😊 along with joke by rm and agust d or deatwitca (can't spell the name🤣🤣) by agust d(suga)
And if you like a bit of soul vs voice in his songs, stigma and singularity aswell 😊😊 or winter bear
@@tonilunt3635 oh...my...God! I looooove those songs. Oh and Truth Untold gives me the feels 💜
that face on the scroll is their CEO HAHAHA. Saying "Producer-nim" keeps going on and on and on (nagging)
It has naturally morphed into what they are today because of the varied talents within the group.
rtj oh my darling, yeah.
Yip RM used Run the Jewels beat with permission. In order to best understand the Daechwita video I highly recommend you watch the video Bookish Theories instead of the DKDKTV video for this one because it is really brilliant 🤯👌
the picture tou were asking about in daechitwa is actually a drawing jungkook draw of bang pd their boss the ceo of bighit thats why u could see in the lyrics it said “bang pd nim keep dancing”
please react to BTS - Hip Hop Lover/Phile
🎼 *K-Rino - Duality/ Spiral Vortex/ Grand Deception/ Blood Docterine/ Secret War* 🎶🔥
My favourite Suga's song gotta be Give it to me and So far away. You guys should check them out too^^
That's my boys😘 the kings of Rappers (include jhope😍)
I maybe died a bit when you stopped joke right before the best part at the end 💀😅 that flow... you can't stop it right before the flow switch...
Now the scroll 📜is a picture of Bang PD.... "You know Hit Man Bang" it's the CEO if BigHit lol
My Fav Suga aka Agust D would be
#The Last( This is the first ever BTS or BTS members song ever I listened to & the lyrics & the emotions its intrigued me)
#Interlude : Shadow
#Daechwita ofcourse
#What do u think????
#Strange feat RM
#First Love (About his love for Piano)
#So far away feat Suran
#Seesaw
#Dear my Friend
Guys! You definitely have to react to the cyphers and the all rap line songs!
I like "People" and "shadow" from suga...
Please react to it... 😊
I love your reaction😍
🔮 I PURPLE YOU 🔮
All your questions are answered by “Daechwita explained by DKDK TV”
That "scroll" is a drawing that the youngest member, Jungkook did of the CEO is the company, Bang Si-Hyuk, lol. 😂
That drawing is their ceo bang shihyuk. Its his logo
The drawing is Bang PD's face (Big Hit's CEO)
it IS a run the jewels beat!
You are right after releasing joke by RM no one dare to reply him back . That's the power of Rap Monster . Do check out his first mixtape songs
He smiles are cute though
The guy with the dread i mean
Check em out cypher 1,2,3,4 rapline rm,suga and jhope
I think JK drew Bang PD like that scroll that they held up
Edit: I never get tired of hearing their songs or seeing their videos.
Edit #2: Daechwita is a Korean song that they played to welcome the king. : )
If ya'll gonna do a lyric break down I would suggest the cyphers 1-4 are lyrical masterpieces. The Cyphers are Bars for Days!!
I love agust d by agust d, and the last and then shadow bts by suga too
This song liiittt, it’s fire, if anyone not fucking with August D, they not living right, lmfao
