The 3D MK games hold a place in my heart but I am definitely glad they went back to 2D.

Great video! So FYI, the next game, MK Deception, is the first game to have a story mode. It also called 'konquest', but the konquest in MK Deadly Alliance is just tutorials. Would be cool for you to play Deception's konquest, it's an open-world RPG mode.
Yeah I’ve see clips from deceptions story, it looks pretty funny.
So after Deadly Aliance it will be Deception which version I played on PSP in called "Unchained" and after Deception it will be Armageddon

This is the first MK game that I owned. It was for the gamecube. I sold it and kept my xbox verison because the gamecube d-pad sucks.
Quan Chi is such a boss in this game, Fatality aside, which isn't that bad, it's just... underwhelming. Erm... Zombie Liu Kang happened because of, DUN-DUN-DUUUUUN........ Raiden.
Right before Deception, he sacrificed himself, and, as a God, he can be resurrected, but it went wrong. According to Fujin in Armageddon, reformed Gods aren't supposed to retain all their personality and memories right away, so Raiden became what fans like to call: Dark Raiden (who sort of "returns" in MKX, MK11, and MK1). Fujin's bio is, of course, something that was thrown in, and the thing that was "thrown in" was that this, I guess, reincarnation ability, is how he's still around after fighting Sub-Zero (Noob) in MK Mythologies. I think Shinnok killed the rest of the elemental Gods a few years after Mythologies, after they likely came back the same way as Fujin and Raiden.
Bloody Nora, this is a long one, ain't it, but I'm wrapping it up... After Raiden laid Liu Kang's body to rest in his tomb, he hunted down a cult of necromancers, sorcerers like Quan Chi, who specialise in raising and controlling the dead (like that Haitan voodoo shit, really), and the weapons they used to reanimate people were called Houan Chains, and after Raiden murdered them all, he used them on Liu Kang's corpse. NOW I'm finished, thank you, everybody, g'night!
Coming back to rewatch and edit again, this was also the first MK I played, when was, I dunno, at most, 10 or 11. My uncle had a copy. And that radial freeze technique Sub-Zero uses, where he just stays in place, is called Ice Shaker. If you can time it right, you can stop advancing opponents dead in their tracks, and can freeze them in mid-air, if they try to jump at you. This game is the only game that had this move: Ice Klone made a comeback in Deception, and has stayed since then.
Final edit: I find it fitting that you fight Scorpion right before Moloch, because in Scorpion's Deception bio, he was thrown into Shang Tsung's Soulnado, AKA, the green, screaming, swirling energy thing in his Palace, by Moloch and Drahmin (the rotting guy, with the flies and the mask. He and Moloch are sort of partners in crime, more or less).
How it happened, was that he was looking for Quan Chi, and ended up passing through Moloch's Lair, and the two Oni defeated him. The Soulnado is connected to the Heavens, and Scorpion was almost killed by the purity of that realm (which Raiden brings up in his Deadly Alliance ending), but the Elder Gods saved him, and made them their champion, which is connected to Shujinko being tricked by "Damashi" in Deception.
Between 3 Mk on ps2 I prefer on Deception, you know it's masterpiece, with many good reason too..... Ehhh maybe I should try again on PSP port which it called "Mortal kombat Unchained")).....

That was great! Quan chis fatality in this game is funny lol. The bad thing about this game is that each character only has one fatality. From what I heard deadly alliance is pretty unfinished. But I seems you like it so im happy. The input reading was insane though lol. Anyways cant wait for mortal kombat deception!
