    I'm always glad to see an addition to the 30" to 40" wingspan collection. That is an underserved size range. I know it doesn't seem like much, but a plane with 35" wingspan and proportionate length fuselage, is a lot easier to transport than one with a 45" wingspan. Plus a 35" plane handles much better than the tiny 29" and under planes. Just my humble opinion.

    Love your videos, Brian, thanks for doing what you do! If you need an architect for anything, I'm in Des Moines and would love to be a part of the dream property you have going on. More than that, I'd love to come fly with you sometime and see all the progress you've made. I'm still very new to the hobby and still working on flying my Aeroscout out of safe mode more, but what a hobby! Again, thanks for all the great and informative videos!

    But the rest of that plane is amazing!!! 😊 👍

  • @AL-RCjunkie
    @AL-RCjunkie 4 дня назад

    Hmmm.. So, I added flaps (2 servos and all) to the 800mm FMS P-51, and I'm running an Avian 30amp esc. It's friggin amazing. 3s 1300mAh smart pack cg's the thing perfectly. So, I'm surprised this 1.0m version, same esc, doesn't allow thrust reverse. It's so cute on my little one!
    Also, no flaps? C'mon man! I know. It's not really for THAT market or whatever... I do like the
    Little planes.
    Btw, that FMS P-40b 980mm has flaps and retracts. And the dang thing is too heavy for It's own good. Like flying a friggin freight train.
    So, Eflite is keeping this one light and simple. But BEAUTIFUL. I get it.
    But, at least unlock the Avian for TR... right?
    Great video, as always!
    Thanks for filming in the AM again, Camera Crew 👍

    Hi Brian. Can I ask what camera and lens 'Camera Crew' uses to shoot these videos? Must have tried a number of combinations at my flying club for our club videos and I just can't get it anywhere near as good as this. Do you use post-shoot stabilisation techniques like warp stabilise or Gyroflow? Or Sony's Catalyst Browse? Or is all the stabilising done in camera? Gimbals or shoulder rigs? Camera Crew does such an amazing job!

    • @BrianPhillipsRC

      She currently films on her Galaxy S21 Ultra cell phone. That's all we've ever used... whichever cell phone was the newest. No stabilization, post-editing, gimbals or anything. She does use a little handle thing, but it's only so she can clip in the receiver for our wireless mics.

    Have you had any problem with the Gen 2 Spectrum batteries discharging completely when in storage

    • @Brestae
      @Brestae 4 дня назад +1

      I probably have 20 G2 Spektrum batteries. I set them to discharge to storage level after 5 days and set storage to 60%, and I've never yet had one self-destruct, and I've never seen one discharge itself below the setting. I've accidently flown batteries to 0% a few times and they've always come back and accepted a charge. The only Spektrum battery I've ever seen "go bad" was when I forgot to unplug one after flying due to distractions, then found it in there a week later.

    • @mikeanddeepetrillo5602
