And how best to serve this changing world has become my mantra. I have recently begun a rewilding project in a city park long neglected by the citizens of my community. Although i have never done anything like this, the inspiration I have received from this song encourages me every day to turn toward truth and love. I have, in turn, encouraged my whole town to begin to look at nature in a whole new light. My dream has taken flight and has led me to so many new ways to help my community and myself. Thank you, dear friends. Although I have never met you, your words have helped to change the person I am becoming. Now, it is my turn to inspire those around me, and it is working. I am changing our world from the soil up. The work has been difficult, but I am changing the hearts of my community daily. I am turning from my own center, and I have learned that anything can be as long as it is simple, kind, and free.

Thank you. I am an unlikely person to be a warrior, and this is an unlikely place, I live in a burned out Midwestern prison town. Everyone is poor in finance. We have to look at the hopeless wreck around us, and we live in a world where nature is trying to reclaim her body. It's difficult for people who know food scarcity personally to understand why we must bring back the plants and flowers that grow in our ditches instead of food or entertainment. Our lives are hard here. When they learn what they have lost. Medicine, clothing, and shelter that our ancestors knew well, they will not need to be so afraid all the time. I am absolutely willing this to power. My town wants to use our park as a test bed for what will work. It is not pride I feel. It is the Now. As clear as a bell, it is the Now.
In and out of these cycles of dark and light, Yaima always reminds me to be in tune with it all. Much love!
