honestly once you reach a certain point what you choose doesnt matter its very easy for the endless mode after the sheriff to be literally endless. i once made one where i literally never moved and could not die. i never saw any enemies and it only ended when i got back from shopping (it was like half the day) and i stopped it so i could play a different game

Another thing to note is that the upgrade that increases his size and damage that he got earlier works off of max health so he is actually decreasing the effect of that upgrade with each dash now. Edit: he almost immediately realized how bad a decision that was at 20:59.

Adding this under because it'd just get cut off, I feel like I have to address one of the upgrades he got that added bounce via how much pierce he has. The fact that this is a thing would work for low pierce, high bounce builds. Because it'd pierce the first enemy then bounce once hitting the 2nd or 3rd enemy. Which would let it chain between enemies properly. But getting a lot of both, namely pierce, negates a lot of other upgrades. He got the upgrade to let his bullets bounce off the edge of the screen, which paired with the portal one nicely because it'd wrap around to the other side of the screen then bounce. But once he got the thing that made bullets go back to him, his bullets no longer bounced around because they would just pierce then come back and pierce.

It's quite amusing how every time DF plays this he takes the 4x speed, -3x damage and then starts trying to put more damage on instead of using the buffed speed. You don't try to shore up your weaknesses, you dive deeper into your strengths.
