What a great price on a REALLY nice box! 👍 Your charts are really interesting, I like how you color coded the performance for each spec on each device. It makes it really easy to understand & compare!
Love the channel and subscribed. Quick question, why do you rate the TX92 over the GS1 in the comments, but your chart has the GS1 over the TX92? You've convinced me on the 2 of them, but I'm a bit confused at this discrepancy. Thanks!
It's becoming more apparent to me that as much as benchmarks play a part in rating these boxes, the real ratings should be about stability, consistency, and versatility of playback.
Good points. You left off continuing support, but that and your listed items are always going to be in short supply considering what these devices cost and where they come from.
Well there is a logic to it, the TV boxes with the highest benchmarks are made by the better companies, they are more expensive as the parts and components used are much better so effectively your going to get a better product and this has been the case every single time from my experiences.
Dude i loved how you unboxed it whilst reading out specs. Very informative and entertaining to watch. Hope you get to be a massive youtuber. Love the whole video format.
going to purchase this tonight from your gearbest link based on this video review plus your chart ranking and price point (currently 62 USD as of july 9th). thanks for all the info and keep it up!
Listen bro, thank you. You are the next level. Tv Box looks and feel, interface, hardware, samples, chart and overall thouhts. I liked your comments about DDR4 and DDR3 comparison in playback. No one does like you, so keep up please. Is it me, or sometimes i see 4K high fps choppy playback? You sholud put close to PASS and FAIL, a CHOPPY SIGN or something like that.
Chigz thanks for the quick review on the GS1. My only question is would you recommend spending the extra 20 dollars for the DDR 4 ram in the Zidoo H6? I might add I did see where Roberto Jorge who I'm sure you are familiar with had some issues with the Zidoo H6 and he said the updates failed to correct them.....I'm kind of surprised Beelink didn't use DDR 4 ram in this box considering their use of it in others prior such as the GTI Ultimate or at least using more ram than 2GB for 4K playback.
Yes I think the H6 Pro is worth the extra $20 as it has more power for those larger 4K files. If your not going to be playing your own 4K files and need just an online streamer then the belink is more than sufficient.
can you please list the games you show in your android reviews? they seem interesting but I'm not familiar with most/ also I'm still not decided on what tv box to get, currently x92 is the best option for me
Chigz I'm pretty sure if I stay in the 50 to 100 dollar range I'm going to spring for the Zidoo H6. Something that has come up in watching various reviews is whether a box can play 64 bit instructions. Many have the capability but are capped to 32 bit instructions. Do you know if the Zidoo will play 64?
Looks better than the h6 in my opinion due to a plastic build not hindering Wi-Fi like the H6 and that the UI is fully customisable without apps/does you can remove such as the H6.
I wanted a beelink box for over 2 years finally saved up and bought a GT1 Mini. Not impressed. I had it for 3 weeks it stopped working. Power light will not go out it stays on green. I've tried unplugging it I've tried 3 different TVs with three different HDMI cables and I even tried a new power cord. No go the screen is just black or reads no signal so it's like nothing is connected I've tried to reset button many of times. Beelink is really dragging their heels and a warranty. I bought it in March and I've been in contact with them since April this is now June and I still don't have a beelink box!?!!
No audio jack? And How i can connect to a PC monitor without speaker? Which adapter from "male Jack green of pc" to toslink audio female of the Android Box?
Love your videos man! Especially with that helpful Benchmark graph... How would you rank the following... H96 Pro + 3gb/32gb, Beelink GS1 6k, and the Xiaomi Mi Box. As if it was for your personal use. Thanks man!
Hi chigz, Ive seen your charts. But I am stocked to choosing this beelink and the tx92. Which do you prefer? You said tx92 is your current driver. Is that correct?
Long hours of gaming on any of these TV boxes will eventually lead to overheating and damage to the box. Unless you use your own cooling method, I would not recommend gaming on any TV box apart from the Nvidia Shield TV.
New to Android TV. Looking at H96 Max w/2g Ram + 16G internal mem - $105 US, 4g +32g - $195 US. Also X92 - $75 US, and the GT1 6k - can't locate in US. My tv resolution is 1080. I will also be running Kodi. What would you recommend as a starter unit? The recommendation does not have to be from the ones I'm looking at? My max download is around 16 megabits/sec.
You're welcome. For me this was the best box available a few months ago when I bought it. Even better then the Xiaomi Mi Box 4K. But the Zidoo H6 Pro and the Beelink GS1 6K seem better choices now.
Well I would choose this over the Tanix as it has better performance however the Tanix has some great specs and is also a very good TV box and brand. You can pick either I one and I know you will be happy they are both amazing devices.
Watched all your vids Chigz... but I gotta ask the same question again as I'm ordering now... The GS1 is 2gb + 16gb and the TX92 is 3gb+32/64. What exactly are the points that makes you choose one over the other? Everyone seems to be hailing the GS1, I don't see why... and is the GS1 with the H6 really making that difference over the TX92 even if it's complimented with 3gb of ram and plenty of storage? Your tried both, would like to hear your opinion as I'm sure many others will appreciate your response here in the near future
Before I choose the Tanix TX92 as my daily driver I tested both the GS1 and H6 as they both have a more powerful CPU. I had no issues with either GS1 or H6 expect that the 16GB storage was not enough for me, I need a least 32GB. Now if you can expand the storage with SD card or USB drive, but I found the speeds are not better than the internal so its always better to get a larger built in storage. So I decided to go for the Tanix TX92. I also made a video on this: ruclips.net/video/K0vBCK7up2E/видео.html
Well you really do respect your viewers and reply to all.. subscribed :) I was gonna get the GS1 today, but many commenters speak of bugs crashes, that's why i started to think of the TX92. Thanks for replying :)
subscribed bro you have very good information and review. i am facing a problem that i can not scroll down in youtube app in beelink gs1. even in iflix app which is similar to netflix please help thank you !!
I recommend you uninstall that youtube version and install apptoide TV app and then install youtube TV version from there it will fully function with your remote.
Root access means that you are able to fully access the operating system to set and modify however desired. Some applications require root access, but most do not. Many OEMs create special versions of Android that do not allow root access (like the FireTV) as a way of protecting their configuration from "curious children" to lower support expenses & complications. We call that a 'walled garden' designed to keep others out.
I think some apps that are very secure like Internet Banking can be affected by a rooted device. I had this issue on a previous smartphone. I think it would be the same for an Android TV box (assuming you'd want to use it for banking purposes).
Nothing on the internet is truly secure. Banking security is showing up with a bodyguard at the teller window and making all transactions in person with ID verification, for what that is worth. All we really have is varying degrees of insecurity in reality.
My Beelink GT1 when rooted caused a problem with the All4 app, It does not support rooted devices and will not open unless you roll it back to a previous firmware version that un roots the box.
If it has root could i overclock it if i needed it? Well there is a game that i do not know if i could play it is called modern combat 5 if someone has this tv box could you test their performance?
I just went from a like to a dislike as I purchased one based on this but the info provide is incorrect! Doesn't support Netflix 1080p, doesn't even support 720p. WiFi & Lan sucks; avg is 50Mbps n maxed at 70Mbps (wired).
Real quick: Any 4k movies or tv I've ever tried hardly get off the ground. Chigz: From what I get on this video, DDR4 ram is just about a necessity, yet my brother runs a Vorke Z6 with 3 gigs of DDR4 and 64 gigs of storage. He get between 75 mbps and 90 mbps at the device. This device has vp9 and H265, and 4k is almost non-existent. Acceleration on, acceleration off....no good. Question is: What's the key to watching 4k? What else can we possibly do? All this on a 65" Samsung 4k set. Could it be the developers run scared after seeing their broadband bill ?? Or is their something else required by the user? Thanks a bunch, appreciate all you do for the community!!
As a workaround, try streaming local copies of 4K content from attached USB_3 device or Ethernet. The size of the files involved should be enlightening for sure to those who do not realize just how much data is involved. Once you get past 1080p the incremental screen quality improvements may not be worth the full package cost but it's certainly a personal preference. Nice, but I can easily live without it.
Thanks Fred, I hear that. I can live without it as well, but brother has a hard time over it. I can understand his logic though. He invested in a 4k Television, and purchased the best hardware in a tv box he knew of. Just about all tv boxes tout 4k capability. Developers of their wares tout 4k content, yet we've had a more than 90% failure rate. I feel sorry for him, I really do. With the exception of his Netflix account, 4k has just about been non-existent. Brother is also right when he complains about tv boxes claiming the capability of streaming 4k, and failing to deliver. What is "4K content from attached USB_# device or Ethernet, you lost me there. Thanks for the feedback :-)
I disagree, there is a lot of 4K content available and is growing by day. You need a tv box with good hardware and software that is capable of automatic frame switching in KODI for example. Companies like Minix, Wetek, Xiaomi and Nvidia are a example. For the content, any 4k addons on KODI will get you a nice and smooth 4K video's. Good luck.
Sorry A B But that hasn't been our experience. Your response begs this question: What is good hardware enough to view 4k content without a problem? We've tried all addons in Kodi that we know of that have 4k content, but failed. I didn't mean to insinuate a lack of content in 4k, just that we've tried everything we know of to get it to work, and yes, in Kodi. So what can I look for inside specifications, both hardware and software, that would ensure a pleasurable view of 4k content??
Bill Rich, In general, the higher performing hardware is going to cost more and your internet connection is going to need to be better performing. 60 Mbs will work but 120 Mbs will work more reliably. Using an Ethernet cable from your router will be better/more capable than Wifi. Using a gaming PC as a HTPC will more likely send perfect streams to your 4K tv than a $70 Android 7 toy. In this competitive marketplace, you generally get what you pay for when comparing CURRENT hardware. Older releases will tend to be over-priced and under-performing in the low end.
If I mostly used to play HD/4K video from USB and stream from youtube, netflix, etc. and sometime play some android games such as Asphalt 8. May I know BEELINK A1 4K Android TV Box or Beelink GS1 6K Android TV Box is more suitable for me?
Doeas this box support Netflix in 4K? Cause I was going to buy a Xiaomi Mi Box 3 which I know can work with Netflix officially... but if this one supports it... Cheers
Chigz Tech Reviews thanks for the reply and for your channel. You have great videos and provide useful info. I like that you actually respond to questions from your subscribers. Some people that have channels just ignore their subscribers. Thanks again!
Excellent Video Content and Presentation.....WELL DONE! One quick question, just curious. What is your current daily Android TV Box driver? I know you test a lot and change all the time. Thanks again! sasdthoh (Paul)
Well actually my first android tv box was TX5 pro I used that for a year and now my upgrade and current daily driver is H96 Max and I have been using this for a few months now. Very happy with both of these. The TX5 pro lives on in the living room with my family in control.
Gearbest are very trusted, it can take up-to 15 workings days for delivery. Expect delays at xmas and and Chinese festivals. Otherwise you will always receive the product and they sell some unique tech at great prices.
Seems great but why 6K there’s no 6K footage yet no six came movies or anything and as far as future proof I guess it is what it don’t you think it will be very very long before you see 6K movies
Please play GTA San Andreas,Modern Combat 5,GTA Liberty City Stories, Asphalt 8 and Telltale Walking Dead season 3 .. please ...I really Want to buy this....please reply
Chigz Tech Reviews Oh wow, really? And they raised the price to $154. I have to investigate and complain to Yundoo. Either update/fix the firmware and/or GB needs to lower the price to at least $100. I feel bad now, I had several friends buy the 4gb Y8. =(
What a great price on a REALLY nice box! 👍

Looks like you have a winner with this one. Especially for the price.. I have Beelink GT1 Ultimate and has worked great for 8 months.
David Cole i have a same one, has yours with wifi?
Yes Beelinks are designed pretty well.
with Android 7.1 OS no issues..
Hi! You changed the chart and it says "Netflix 480p". The hack has been blocked or just a mistyping?
This box is actually Netflix 480p. So I updated the charts accordingly.
Your work, your comparative tables, are just incredible. Thanks!
Glad you liked 😎👍
I buy this box because of ur video and chart man thanks good box
Chigz thanks for the quick review on the GS1. My only question is would you recommend spending the extra 20 dollars for the DDR 4 ram in the Zidoo H6? One last thing. Where do you stand on the Amazon Fire box? I couldn't find a link if you reviewed it.
The old fire TV is gone, the new one totally sucks and generally I have not liked any of the fire devices including sticks.
can you please list the games you show in your android reviews? they seem interesting but I'm not familiar with most/
also I'm still not decided on what tv box to get, currently x92 is the best option for me
Yes all the recent videos will have the name of the game.
thank you!)
the latest software update for the box won't install properly, is there a fix for this problem ?
Chigz I'm pretty sure if I stay in the 50 to 100 dollar range I'm going to spring for the Zidoo H6. Something that has come up in watching various reviews is whether a box can play 64 bit instructions. Many have the capability but are capped to 32 bit instructions. Do you know if the Zidoo will play 64?
Hi, can I ask id this heat sink inside how would some clean it out?
You wont need to, there is no fan, its a thermal heat sink stuck on top of the CPU.
high res audio playback, mkv video playback via hdd hook up?
Looks better than the h6 in my opinion due to a plastic build not hindering Wi-Fi like the H6 and that the UI is fully customisable without apps/does you can remove such as the H6.
Yes and the Beelink is also a lot smaller and compact in size.
I wanted a beelink box for over 2 years finally saved up and bought a GT1 Mini. Not impressed. I had it for 3 weeks it stopped working. Power light will not go out it stays on green. How to I get to the happycast app can not find it want mirroring from my phone
No audio jack? And How i can connect to a PC monitor without speaker? Which adapter from "male Jack green of pc" to toslink audio female of the Android Box?
Which u think is better? This or Zidoo H6 pro? Tks!
Both are very similar but the H6 is more stable.
Which is most stable this Beelink GS1 or the T95Q - S905X2?
T95Q is more stable and overall better box.
Love your videos man! Especially with that helpful Benchmark graph...
How would you rank the following...
H96 Pro + 3gb/32gb, Beelink GS1 6k, and the Xiaomi Mi Box.
As if it was for your personal use.
Thanks man!
1. GS1
2. H96
3. Mi
Thats how I would rank them.
Chigz Tech Reviews thanks. Got a Mi Box for $40 brand new. Loving it. But I still want to try that GS1...
Have you tried the TX8 Mini? Great box.
Hi chigz, Ive seen your charts. But I am stocked to choosing this beelink and the tx92. Which do you prefer? You said tx92 is your current driver. Is that correct?
Also, I plan to try pubg mobile if possible to which you think will handle it better. Have you tried?
Long hours of gaming on any of these TV boxes will eventually lead to overheating and damage to the box. Unless you use your own cooling method, I would not recommend gaming on any TV box apart from the Nvidia Shield TV.
Chigz Tech what's your best middle of the road android box with 5GHZ and Google Cast? Thanks
New to Android TV. Looking at H96 Max w/2g Ram + 16G internal mem - $105 US, 4g +32g - $195 US. Also X92 - $75 US, and the GT1 6k - can't locate in US. My tv resolution is 1080. How much do you want to spend?
Not more than $110
If you buy anyone of those you mentioned you will be happy.
Thanks, Is the mx10 rooted?
I see were the amazon mx10 boxes have DDR4 instead of DDR3, which was in your unit you reviewed. Will this memory change improve boxes performance?
I appreciate your reviews and the benchmark stats sir !
I see my fav box is still in the top 10 :)
Glad you liked, what is your fav box btw. Thanks for watching 😎👍
Can you do Wechip V7? Looks great. I just ordered it at 62$ on Aliexpress
Hi Chign, which is the best one from these 5: Beelink GS1 6K ,Beelink GT1 Ultimate, Tanix TX92,
TX5 PRO Smart or Tanix TX9 Pro TV Box
Here is a top 5 from your choices. No1 being the best. 1. Beelink GS1
2. TX92
3. Beelink GT1
4. Tanix TX9
5. TX5 Pro
Thank you. You are very kind
The MECOOL M8S PRO L can do 1080p Netflix as well btw! And apparantly so can the M8S PRO +
Thanks for sharing, Pro L is coming soon.
You're welcome. For me this was the best box available a few months ago when I bought it. Even better then the Xiaomi Mi Box 4K. But the Zidoo H6 Pro and the Beelink GS1 6K seem better choices now.
Chigz Tech Reviews what you recommend this one or xiomi?
Mecool m8s pro l
So u reckon this is better than the Tanix TX92?
Well I would choose this over the Tanix as it has better performance however the Tanix has some great specs and is also a very good TV box and brand. You can pick either I one and I know you will be happy they are both amazing devices.
What's the maximum capacity MicroSD card this can use? thanks.
I believe it can take max 128GB
Watched all your vids Chigz... but I gotta ask the same question again as I'm ordering now... The GS1 is 2gb + 16gb and the TX92 is 3gb+32/64. Welcome to the channel. 😎👍
subscribed bro you have very good information and review. i am facing a problem that i can not scroll down in youtube app in beelink gs1. even in iflix app which is similar to netflix please help thank you !!
I recommend you uninstall that youtube version and install apptoide TV app and then install youtube TV version from there it will fully function with your remote.
Does root affect any usage because most of the tv boxes you recently showcased came rooted ? And keep it up making the great vids😘
No it does not affect any usage, all apps, everything works as it should.
Root access means that you are able to fully access the operating system to set and modify however desired. Some applications require root access, but most do not. Many OEMs create special versions of Android that do not allow root access (like the FireTV) as a way of protecting their configuration from "curious children" to lower support expenses & complications. My Beelink GT1 when rooted caused a problem with the All4 app,
It does not support rooted devices and will not open unless you roll it back to a previous firmware version that un roots the box.
Hello, can you watch Sky go on the Beelink Gs1 tv box? Thank you.
Sky go does not support TV Boxes.
I really enjoyed your channel and it really helped me settle on this TV box. Thanks for your work
Your welcome.
Hey can u update us? How is the box? I'm thinking about getting this one. Thnx.
If it has root could i overclock it if i needed it? Well there is a game that i do not know if i could play it is called modern combat 5 if someone has this tv box could you test their performance?
Dont recommend rooting as always chance of bricking. Yes you can play modern combat 5 on this box.
thanks good video continues like this =)
Have you done a review on the Byte 3 ?
No not yet, its on the list to do. Still thinking whether its worth the price.
why is the yundoo y8 no longer on your list ?
Y8 is not supported with no updates and its a flawed box so I took it off the list.
you know about delay decoder for moonlight?
Why the dislikes ? This is good information
Glad you liked, thanks for watching 😎👍

It's only 14 on 416 likes so.

No it does not. Mi box might be better option for you.
Real racing 3 looks laggy as well... Or is it just the recording software?
Real racing played fine with no lag.
i cant do mirror cast plus cant scrool down or up on youtube other than that box works good
Hey Chigz, thanks for making me decide on this TV Box, can't wait to get it. Now please recomande a wireless keyboard for it, cheers!

You can watch Netflix in HD, correct? Did you like it better than that comparable box. Zidoo h6 oro.
Yes I personally prefer the Zidoo H6 pro as it has faster RAM and more USB ports.
Chigz Tech Reviews thanks for the reply and for your channel. You have great videos and provide useful info. I like that you actually respond to questions from your subscribers. Some people that have channels just ignore their subscribers. Thanks again!

Is the remote IR, Bluetooth, or radio?
Standard IR remote.

Does it support Dolby and Dts sound ?
Not it does not.
So Zidoo H6 Pro is better than Beelink Gs1 because Zidoo H6 Pro
support Dolby and Dts sound.
Can Gearbest be trusted to deliver?
Gearbest are very trusted, it can take up-to 15 workings days for delivery. Expect delays at xmas and and Chinese festivals. Otherwise you will always receive the product and they sell some unique tech at great prices.
Seems great but why 6K there’s no 6K footage yet no six came movies or anything and as far as future proof I guess it is what it don’t you think it will be very very long before you see 6K movies

Minecraft works fine. Ps4 remote play will only work on Sony devices.

Some people like to run some custom applications and for that the box needs to be rooted. It does not make a difference to us average users.

I'd rather get the 4/32 DDR4 YUNDOO Y8 from gbest. Though it look like they raised the price of the Y8 =(
I do not recommend the Yundoo Y8, the firmware is flawed and there has been no update.
Chigz Tech Reviews Oh wow, really? And they raised the price to $154. I have to investigate and complain to Yundoo. Either update/fix the firmware and/or GB needs to lower the price to at least $100. I feel bad now, I had several friends buy the 4gb Y8. =(
Chigz Tech Reviews what Android box do you recommend with 4GB's of DDR4 w/32/64 and a fast CPU??? Since Yundoo is dropping the ball... What a shame...
