- Ah the Ministry days - a transition for the Deadman into a twisted, uncaring satanic leader who hated "everyone and everything" and I loved every minute of it. It's a massive shame that this part of Taker's career was ruined with the Corporate Ministry angle (cool theme though) and later cut short due to injury. It had the potential to be the biggest storyline of the time but wasn't to be. I forget who uploaded the original versions of these themes (I've slowed and merged together both versions and added a slight reverb) but massive credit to them for their work - no copyright intended - just my own interpretation of some awesome work.

That would've been awesome to see! I let my hair grow from 2007- mid 09 and got a leather trenchcoat.....wasn't trying to emulate a certain deadman =)
the first time I remember the Undertaker ministry days was when I first saw it in the WWF Smackdown game... then it was in the Rock Video whereI saw him in the real version and then the rest is history when years later I would see youtube videos of the ministry era and since then I've come to realise that this was indeed one of the greatest eras of the undertaker and how it pushed him in his dark days... despite the stuff he did in the Corporate Ministry era it still was awesome even thought it did somewhat ruin him, he still looked very badass in a dark and demonic way and even had one of the best themes that to this day is still played and listened to by many fans since the Ministry theme was more recognised at the time of the undertaker's career.
That was my first encounter with Undertaker as well who absolutely destroyed me in the demo I picked rock cos he looked cool big mistake! I was hooked from that point on. He was just so different to the others and gave me chills. Then Smackdown 2 came out and i looked for him - imagine my dismay when it was the American Badass persona!

Some really dark moments i.e. the Mideon ritual and attempting to embalm Austin. Personally, I enjoyed the episode in March 1999 where Taker was looking for Bossman and the Ministry destroyed everyone who competed that night until they got him. The symbol exploding in flames and Taker just smiling sadistically as he is arrested and then laughing in the back of the police car as Vince warns him to stay in jail or he'll get him when he gets out.....wonderful memories

As much as I love the Attitude era, they really blew a lot of great storylines that were going on at the time just to keep the Austin vs McMahon rivalry going. They should've given other storylines the time to grow and develop. I liked the idea of Taker getting in Vince's head and he has Austin to deal with - who's the more dangerous and could Vince rely on Austin to help him keep the company - really believe they could've kept it going to Survivor series with the Ministry vs the Corporation for absolute control of WWF but what do i know?

Every fucking fan were chanting for Austin every time. (even if he wasn't in ring)
Yeah that was a problem with being the top guy in the company and i think Mick Foley's promo in 1998 just after Mania 14 where he went on a rant about how he was getting his head smashed in with a chair and over the PA he heard the announcers mentioning Austin and the fans went nuts and how he felt everyone else was being overlooked. I agreed a lot with the stuff he was saying. My view is that you can build future stars by putting them in the ring with the top guy or guys so in my scenario with the ministry you've got edge, christian, Gangrel, APA, Mideon, Viscera and Big Show and whoever else he recruited in the ring with Austin, Rock, Triple H, Mankind etc...huge star names and have the rookies go over them cleanly without the stars feeling slided for not being in the main event and the rookies at the time not being overlooked compared to the stars. A huge brawl off with plenty of talent getting their stuff in.
I know that the undertaker is 80% retired but hearing this as an entrance music sure does bring me back to the good old days of 94-99

Now that's he's "retired" is something.. But he mentioned one day coming back to the ring one day but hopefully not to wrestle.. He has nothing to prove or tarnish his legacy imo

This is truly an amazing piece of work you have made in the name of the Ministry of Darkness. The Lord of Darkness, our savior, commends you on your hard work in his servitude. Now we require... a sacrifice! But yes, splendid job friend. The choir and organs really add to the whole asthetic of the Gothic Ministry and the low pitched gong sending shivers down my spine, I felt like I truly was witnessing a vision of the Dawn. The Dawn of Darkness. The Ministry. THE UNDERTAKER!

The ministry days were absolutely amazing!!!! But also a bit disturbing but overall the best taker persona of all time! I was also shocked that taker brought back the ministry goatee in 2014 :/
I liked the goatee he rocked in 2014 - thought it was a slight acknowledgement to it and perhaps a sign of a darker side of the current iteration of the character. I overlook what happened at that year's Wrestlemania though.....

The mohawk look didn't really go with the goatee so glad he's let the hair grow back - now come back with both and form a new ministry please!
+undefeatedtaker1989 oh ya with the Mohawk it looked so bad! With the hooded attire he wore to the ring for a promo on those episodes of raw in 2014 leading up to WM he looked better with it! Honestly I wanna see taker formed the ministry with the Wyatt's because they have the look and their characters are just right!
I was hoping for that swerve leading into last year's survivor series when they carried Kane and Taker away - sets up new ministry traditional survivor series match. Really would've boosted the Wyatt's career instead they ended up jobbing to everyone. Most underused and under-rated group going at the moment except Braun but he could just be the guy who is the brick wall =(
ministry of course was just awesome. I just hated how he had to turn to heel since fan base was obsessed with Austin and would boo taker when he'd be beating Austin down. Just hated that part of people booing a man I never dreamed of ever happening

it was so sad he did because this could have big huge this was undertaker in his prime
I will always wonder if the American Badass gimmick was going to happen if he stayed fit anyway as he started wearing the bandanna and shades in the Summer of 1999. Would've been very interesting to see how they would've handled that. 96-99 Taker was a beast - his character had completely shook off the stigma that he could only fight the bigger guys and allowed him to express so much more in promo's and in the ring. Still impressed by his mid 06-08 form as well as he was in tremendous shape for a guy north of 40 and put a lot of the current roster at the time to shame.
I think this is supposed to be played at a faster speed, but I love the regular speed. Slowed down adds a level of sinister to the track.
I'd love this played during my last ride to the boneyard in a horse drawn hearse!
This is like going to Bowser castle and in the end the undertaker is standing there decked out in that wicked as fuck WrestleMania XV outfit, with Bowser tied up and decapitated with the princess raised in the air by her throat, with taker eyes rolled saying " Mario...Princess Peach....will.....rest in peace....*snaps princess peach neck with the jumping tombstone*
If only if the undertaker comes back again as a manager of the new ministry I would have Alister black Alexa bliss as her current scary gimmick with Lilly Braun strowman the fiend Bray Wyatt Nikki cross as a psycho gimmick maybe Baron Corbin as his lone wolf gimmick as his bald head scary gimmick
