This at the programe :The Best Singers and they won.They also went to The Eurovision Songcontest with "Lights and Shadows.That song is especcially written for their mother who had bone-cancer.Sadly enough she passed away.The girls became 9th with that song.A song with a Strong message.

Not entirely true, their mother indeed past away but that was long after this show was aired on tv. This show is about a few of the best singers from the Netherlands who sing songs for eachother. This song was chosen by the girl with the big curly hair because in a period in her life she experienced that same thing the song is about, that is why tears were falling.

Indeed Rino, there was something about it like a emotional rollercoaster for the singers and its audience, because the girls had some major emotional bagage on them. Its something that the host explained later on at the interviews.
Just to be clear, there mom was still alive while recording this show.
There emotional because there lives in the spotlights always ask them to smile (be a clown) but back home they face the hard fact knowing that there losing there mother soon..
Thats what there explaining after this number in this show.
They performed at Eurovision with a song written for there mother, Lights&Shadows.
A few weeks after these girls did there best performance at the Eurovision Song Contest there mother died from cancer.
Just 2 months later these girls went on with there theater tour and had to perform Lights&Shadows EVERY EVENING.. And they did it with pride and love... That was SUCH a great moment to watch..

The song is actually about the pressure that's being put on artists. That's why they were both crying, cause as an artist, they know what it feels like. For us it's harder to know what it feels like, but you can really try to understand and you feel the song
No, they were crying because their mom was very sick.

This song is from the girl with the big curls who was crying aswel. De idea of this program is that all the people who are sitting their sing a song from each other. And every week they sing the songs from 1o of the artist. They sang this song for their mother..

You need to listen to ogene with sing. It is a song they sing in te program de beste zangers van Nederland. The rap part is verry special, every word they rap is from someone els. It is very beautiful!

You should Watch more video's of them, sing is really good, they echo there wich is something they made up, where they sing the rapp words really fast but together... And there own songs are really good, Lights and Shadows is a great song they made for there sick mom Who passed away after the release.

nice review. I would be very intrested to hear your oppions on the song called "Say my name" sung by the amazing Sharon den Adel lead vocalist of the symphonic metal band Within Temptation. She has one the most beautifull crystall clear voices that you will ever hear. The song itself is about her grandmother with Alzheimer and her desperate attemps to connect with her one last time. The song was never released on any fo the studio albums but as a bonus track on the single release of the song called "Angels".
Her delivery is spot on except for slight emotional tremor in her voice that makes it all the more beautiful. The audience is also fully aware of the uniqueness of this song because it so quiet that you would have been able to hear pin drop. Quiet an achievement in an sold out sports arena that can hold up to 20.000 people. I have seen this woman perform twice in concert and countless live registration online she is useally very relaxed and cheerfull during her concerts. During this concert she starts out that way but you can see her tense up the closer she get to this song and relaxes again after the song has been done. Sorry, but it's extremely annoying that the sound of the video you're watching turns down (a lot) everytime you say something...!! Also, the explanation you give of what the song means is wrong (although it's completely fine if this is what it means to YOU of course): it's about what a music artist has to go through to become succesfull; they have to play "the clown" for the record company and sing and dance and do whatever the record company wants them to do, even though they would like to sing something completely different. The singer is just a puppet, a clown.... Listen to the song again and you will understand....
By reacting on every best part and then turning the sound down to hear you commenting was the most cringeworthy waiste of my time and f!@@#$d the song up completely. Thanks but No thanks.
